Well I have been with Directv for 8-10 years.Took about a year and half off when where having a house built and was so busy moving,buying furniture,etc,etc...Anyway what few problems I had with Direct always gets resolved when I call retention.I don't bother calling the regular customer service number anymore.I knew Direct just launched a new satellite Friday to offer more hd content.They have agreements in place with most of them.Sometime in September they are supposedly adding up 25 more HD channels if all goes well with the new satellite.If the Liberty Media take over of Directv is succesful there will be more changes hopefully TiVO.I only had 1 experience with Dish and that's because my mom had it.Anyway it was loosing channels and I called Dish,I was told to climb on my moms roof and tighten the Dish.No,No I have never had to re tighten,adjust or otherwise from Directv.All of my issues with Directv ends with me receiving credits.Something always look better until you try it first hand.There's Dish subs who love it and never had problems with it at all,same for Direct and cable cos. too.And there are some who despise one of the 3 regardless wether it's minor or major.
