Sorry Dude... it's Wedding Gallery nite. []
EDIT: What do you need 5 PA systems for? Are you getting ready to play Ozzy for the Amish Neighbors again? [6]

<begin HOMER SIMPSON drool and voice>
OOOOOOOO! Perty lights..... lots of cables.......
<end HOMER>
If only I had the money right now
-
he definitely wins
...Thanks, I feel somewhat sane again.
Uhhhh...
You feeling OK?[:S]
When's the next Colter Road Trip? Taking the green truck out again?
You guys just had to put those pics up. Now Michael's probably pacing the floors, while he tries to find a few more good deals he can do a weekend drive to go pick up and expand the house of Klipsch again. [6]

"While flat-panel plasma and LCD TVs give you a slick and slim big-screen experience, they're still visible. And even though wall mounting eliminates an unattractive stand, when the TV is off, you're still left staring at a giant black box." Since when did it become a faux pas to be able to see your TV?? Today's TVs may be larger in screen size than they were years ago, but their overall girth is incredibly less than when tube TVs ruled the roost....
I must be one of the fortunate few who's wife/significant other doesn't mind a giant TV screen, huge speakers and a subwoofer sitting out for all to see.
Simple answer... hideaway HD projector and Screen.
But... to hide a beautiful Khorne or Cornwall. Or even my RF 3.5s...
Sacrilege! []
That's like putting a portrait of the Pope in the outhouse! or putting your old 386 computer with 256 color monitor on top of a cornwall and calling it a desk!
Now... if you want to hide the other "guys" speakers... I'll forgive that one.
-
the sub fit very nicely under the Wire-shelf stand with the audio equipment (barely!) It's about 12 inches out from the back wall.
Yep... 3 weddings in 2 weeks done -- 1 left to edit -- and 7 more to go!

On the advice of Mr. Colter I picked up my recent purchase of a Klipsch sub off this forum. You'll have to ask Mr. C which one it was, cause I'm out of town, and don't remember at the moment.
Michael came over to help me get it set up. As always, he was thinking ahead. After getting it hooked up, he admitted it was too much sub for my RF/RB 3.5 suround system.
I think he had it planned that way. Now I have an excuse to upgrade!
OH, and while we were testing it (You have to start with it all the up, ight?) we played Pink Floyd's Pulse DVD.
Once the first rumles began eminating from the home theater in the basement, our beagle -- who is a major scaredy cat around thunder and fireworks, came running down to the basement - to hide from the thunder.
Poor dog. We had a tough time convincing her to not sit next to the sub as she sat there shaking and panting in fear. -
Hmmmm.... Very Cool!
My favorites: Obey the Law! and Turn that **** down! (Even if you do have Klipsch speakers in the car)!
Can we get Chris Rock and Carlos Mencia together to do some educational vids for the public?
That would be awesome.

Yes also has some pretty killer bass lines. Colter is the Yes expert,
but I especially enjoy "Starship Trooper" on whatever DVD that Colter
has. It literally blows your hair back (and is a really cool groove too
- so not like it's just noise).Great suggestions so far.
And I think Colter has every YES CD ever pressed, [] so I'm not sure which one of the Starship Troopers performances you heard. -
Looks pink now [:#]
You must be over at Colter's. I've been trying to get him to calibrate his color on that 3 year old monitor, but he won't do it! []
-
OK, it looks blue.[:$]
I just took the hat off my head, and looked at it. The hat is black. []
So I opened it in PhotoShop and sucked all the blue out of the pic. Refresh your browsers and let me know if it's still blue. []
-
Wii is pronounced "We" as in "We would like to play"
and your monitor sucks... hat is black, lighting has a tinge of blue, but not that bad.

It's not as classy as D'Tel's family room, but you could also take a cruise on this ship: First ever bowling alley on a cruise ship!
Hey Colter: When's the Klipsch Pilgrimage "Bowling at Sea Tourney?" Isn't organizing and hosting one part of your job description now?

Well, last night, I was downloading about 20 gig of photos from CF cards to my main computer, and thought I'd watch Pink Floyd's Pulse (with RF/RB 3.5 surrounds) to kill some time while each card downloaded.
When Money came on, I remembered a question I posed to Colter several years ago on one of our road trips:
What are some of the best rock songs that feature a great bass line?
Money has a strong bass line through the first half of the song (until the guitars take over). Queen's Another One Bites the Dust is an obvious choice. But what about others? Anyone got any favorites? -
Sarah Knight asked if they could use me in the news article, I said I did not want my name and address published so I could not be in it [] they wanted to talk about my 18-19 hour bus ride to and from indy
Jay,
Wasn't your bus ride home "R" rated? (Something about a transvestite?)
Maybe she decided it was too "racy" for this forum. []
drag queen and a nympho!!!
Whew... I thought you were going to say that was a trip that Colter and I took to New York! [pi]
-
Will you blend yours?
-
Need my back-up MacBook Pro 15" for a while?
-
Dang.... what a way to spend Sunday afternoon.
Thanks to Johnny et al for archiving this stuff!
I think Colter needs to start working on the new Klipsch Hotties limited edition Calendar. [] to give him something to do in his spare time at work! -
Welcome aboard Troy! You must be alright if colter vouches for ya.
I'm definately not alright... [] but Colter has to say nice things about me... I've traveled with him too much. [:#]
I knew him back when he only had two Cornwals. -
If the RSW12 is still up, I'll take it.
PS: Colter is da man! Thanks Michael!
