  1. The RW 12D needs a power cord. It is a powered sub and def requires a cord. Also you need to hook up a cable from the sub to your sub pre-out on the receiver. Tell the clowns at BB to get it right. You can also download the RW 12D manual from the Klipsch site.
  2. People are taking offense because you asked the question in a ignorant way. At first you didn't even explain that you own Klipsch speakers or what kind? Then you don't tell us why you may think that Klipsch is not as "good" as it used to be. You don't explanin where you heard this?? From a friend, store clerk, ect.. More detail in the original message would have made this appear a lot less like a trashing of Klipsch.
  3. The RF-82's are very nice and should sound great in that room. I would go for it.
  4. The "G" ride 04' Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe. My other baby besides the reference system.
  5. Get the RW-12d or better, and don't look back.
  6. Not taking anything away from Sunfire, but that NAD M25 gets tons of good reviews from what I have seen. I always hear about how the masters series has such a warm sound? I might try and demo one with some Klipsch speakers at my local hi-fi audio store.
  7. I Have the 82 setup and love it. I have not listened to the 52,62, or 35's.I assume you can't go wrong anywhere in the reference line. The bass on the 82's is great and almost doesn't need a sub in my opinion, unless you like to really shake the building or use it for HT use. I would go with a HK amp or seperates though, as I feel sometimes when I am cranking the system really loud it can get a tad bright. I think it's the Onkyo amp more than anything or that my room is all wood everywhere that might be at fault.
  8. I have the RSW-10d and it is a great powerful sounding sub. I can't speak for the others though.
  9. I have heard some say that the Outlaw amps are "Bright" sounding vs some of the comp? Though I have no personal experience of that with them. I was thinking of getting a 7700 amp and buying some RF-83's. Has anyone noticed a significant sound difference with some of the referenced names ie..Rotel, Outlaw, NAD, Sunfire. ect...
