  1. I can't wait to hear these. []
  2. I just felt like updating this thread because Professor Thump recently posted at the Head-Fi forums with a somewhat clearer statement in distinguishing the sonic qualities of the two high-end models (bolded), along with further insight to those concerned with comfort. Source
  3. The small ring idea reminds me of what EarPeace did with their LiveWires custom IEMs. Notice the little red block on the cable signifying the right channel: Source
  4. I forget if this has already been addressed or not, but are the armatures used in the Custom-3 actually made by Klipsch or are they made by a third-party (such as Sonion, Knowles, etc.)? EDIT: It seems that the Custom-2 utilizes a dual-driver (KG534) manufactured by Sonion. Am I right to assume that Sonion also makes the KG723 and the KG732 drivers? Are these specially designed exclusively for Klipsch or rebrands of existing Sonion balanced armatures?
  5. Any possibility of a pre-order with accompanying discounts? []
  6. Anything new to report since this post? []
  7. I haven't tried them, but I did watch the instructional video and can see now that it is not as bad as I thought. I'm still possibly waiting on Klipsch Custom-3's since I value sound quality the most.
  8. Bah. I'm trying to prevent myself from visiting this forum too often so that the wait won't seem so long. I keep checking back everyday for updates. [:$]
  9. Nice! I'm glad that they finally worked out for you.
  10. Excellent, the Klipsch Custom-3 "placeholder" is up at Amazon.com. Let's hope their 4-5 week estimated availability (which seems reasonable enough) stands true! Source
  11. Trust me, I was very tempted, but in the end, I still wanted to wait for the Custom-3 instead.
  12. Newegg.com - Klipsch IMAGE 3.5mm Connector Canal Full-Range In-Ear Headphone Is this a price mistake? Or is Newegg trying to be the #1 Klipsch IMAGE dealer? [] On that note, the Custom-1 is also heavily discounted in comparison to MSRP ($79.99 vs. $129, or about 38% off), but not as much is saved in comparison to the IMAGE ($199.99 vs. $349, or nearly 43% off!). The Custom-2 is set at the MSRP.
  13. The link is at the top of the page, but here is the link for you anyway.
  14. Ack! That's a bit heartbreaking. I was very eager to hear the Custom-3 as it seemed like it was the flagship product from Klipsch in regards to sound quality. Oh well, it's understandable that everything needs to be perfect from mass production before these are released, and I'm prepared to wait. In the meantime, I hope to hear many great stories about the IMAGE and the rest of the Custom Series.
  15. Nice find. I could only find the IMAGE earphones on Amazon. Perhaps the Custom Series is going to be sold primarily through Klipsch? Oh, the anticipation!
  16. That is awesome news. I can't wait to funnel Klipsch sound right into my ears. Congratulations!
  17. The Owner's Manuals for the new line-up are up now. I just gave both the IMAGE and the Custom Series manuals a quick read-through and am quite happy with the professional presentation. The days are numbered until November!
  18. My only issue with the IMAGE earphones is the shape. It seems like the way they are designed, they stick out of your ears the same way that Etymotics ER4 earphones do, which in my opinion look kind of goofy.
  19. Whoa whoa whoa, hold on there a second. What is a Custom 10?! I only see Custom-1, Custom-2, and Custom-3.
  20. Well, some people who have heard both the IMAGE and Custom Series say that the IMAGE is actually pretty close to sounding as good as the Custom-3 model. I feel confident in Klipsch's ability to bring competitive products to the headphone market and quite possibly take it by storm. Just got to get through this long month of October. [:S]
  21. I'm very glad to be here, and I hope to see great things happening at Klipsch very soon!
  22. Skylab is indeed his username, but he hasn't really posted much about IEMs or earphones. He has a thread dedicated to a huge comparison of closed headphones, and yes, something similar for portable amps too. His favorite on-the-go headphone is still the venerable Sennheiser HD 25. I have a pair myself and enjoy them, but I'm still looking for something awesome sounding AND ultraportable, and I'm hoping these Klipsch earphones will fit the bill! If you haven't seen it already (I posted in the other thread here concerning headphones), I started a thread to start building hype at Head-Fi. You can check it out here. Your lovely web marketing specialist Amy has already put in a few words as well.
  23. Hi, new member here, but long time Klipsch fan. I went ahead and made a thread at the famous headphone enthusiasts forum, Head-Fi, about the Custom Series (I made one previously about the IMAGE earphones too) and the hype is beginning to grow. You can check it out here.
