  1. Unfortunately in-wall isn't an option. Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk
  2. Nope, they are definitely bookshelf speakers. Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk
  3. Hi, i want to wall mount my KG 2.5 for my 2-channel set up. I don't want to drill holes in them. I'd like the most stealth type of mounts to make the wife happy. Any suggestions for me? Thanks
  4. Hello, I am in Montréal and looking for the MK1 to match my RF82 & RC62. Thanks Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk
  5. I moved into my new house and sadly my RS42 surrounds will no longer be an option because of the way my new basement is configured. I am looking for the smallest speakers that Klipsch has ever produced so that I can mount them up in the corners and point them towards the listening position. They need to be 7 inches tall, give or take a half inch. Any such product come to mind? Thanks M
  6. Both splitters that I have tried are of high quality. One is Acoustic Research and the other is Monster THX. I also tried plugging the subs in different AC outlets. As a matter of fact they are plugged into a Belkin surge protection device and the sub plugs do not have a ground. I also tired to disconnect the coaxial cable to my cable box. Nothing has worked. I have a feeling that mdeneen is on the right track. I guess my only option at this point is to try a Ground Loop Isolator.
  7. Yes, without the splitter the subs work fine. I would love the understand what the problem is? Why does the splitter at source produce a hum in the subs?
  8. I have two Velodyne subs. My Marantz receiver only has one sub out. When I put a splitter in order to connect both subs, I get a significant hum from both subs. Even if I turn one of them off, the hum remains in the one that is on. Obviously the splitter at the Marantz sub out is the issue. Is there any way around this?
  9. Question: instead of three dedicated amps, would buying a flagship Denon AVR produce the same results?
  10. Like I mentioned earlier, my rs42 and rf82 are both gen1 so I'm glad the rc62 turned out to be a gen1 as well
  11. Received the item today. It is indeed a gen 1. Can't wait to hook it up!
  12. Hmmm, not sure what you mean by Magnolia Best Buy stores.
  13. That is good to know. Honestly I will be happy if it arrives as a mark I because it will match the rest of my gear aesthetically. Not sure if I will leave all the grills off though, that look is pretty nice.

  15. I just bought an RC-62 new from Future Shop (Best Buy in Canada) It does not specifiy if it is a I or II. How can I tell?
  16. Looking for a black Gen 1 RC-62. The problem is that I live in Montreal, Québec.
  17. Did you have to drive a screw into the speaker with this mount?
  18. Believe it or not I am unable to find one single picture online of the setup that I want to achieve.
  19. The 64 handles bass so well that Audessey on my system tried to cross it over at 40 hz. You're not losing any meat.
  20. I am currently gutting my basement and prepping for home theatre. I have RF-82 as my Fronts and am thinking of using a single RB-81 as a center. I would like to mount it to the wall right above the TV using an adjustable wall mount and angle it down. 1. Is it a good idea? 2. Will it look ugly? 3. What wall mount do you suggest that can support and tilt the RB-81?
  21. You may be correct. Copied this from the manual.t MONITOR OUT This is a monitor output and each one includes both composite video and S-video configurations. When connecting two video monitors or televisions, be aware that the OSD interface can be used with both MONITOR OUT connections.
  22. I am shopping for a new LED TV and cannot find any with S Video input. My Marantz 4002 can only display the menu via S Video and not HDMI. Would I need a converter box or only a converter cable? The price difference between the box and cable is huge.
  23. Dolby Atmos for the home just came out, and Marantz was right there on top of it with the SR-7009. Like I mentioned earlier, I found that at the same price point, Marantz always had less features and/or older technology to offer than the competition. Having said that it has been a couples of years since I have been shopping for an AVR. I am very satisfied with my Marantz product and would most likely buy another. I have always wanted to try a Denon though.
