  1. Never used them to clean up human feces, so I can't speak to that. Roger
  2. Couldn't stop thinking about this and sleep, so I got back out of bed to give you and Negatron a science lesson here. Hundreds of thousands of bacteria can fit on the head of a single straight pin. We can see a single bacteria with a high power glass lens microscope. We can NOT see a single virus with a normal microscope. We need an Electron Microscope to see a single virus. The size difference is so great, it is impossible to see a bacteria in an electron microscope and still be able to see a single virus. If a single virus was sitting on a single bacteria, it would look like a BB rolling down a 12 lane highway. I don't know what you have been smoking, but it aint good !! Your Coffee filter lets coffee particles through it and that is what colors your coffee. As nurses, we use both rubber and Latex gloves. Old people sometimes get an infection that can be fatal referred to as C-Diff. C-Diff causes a ton of Diarrhea which makes you physically Gag when you smell it. Now it does not matter which kind of glove you wear, your fingers still stink like shit after taking the gloves off. These gloves are only limiting how much shit you are getting on your hands. Standard issue Hospital masks will only prevent you from breathing in the large goobers that are coughed out but those large or miniature to microscopic mist goobers can sit around for hours on that mask with literally millions of viruses and the mask is doing absolutely nothing to prevent virus sized particles from being inhaled. In fact, that mask could be providing a shelf for those viruses to hang out on for hours, right in front of your nose and mouth. It is kind of the same as if you had a cup full of virus and continually breathed directly over it unprotected for hours. Negatron; I have an experiment for you. Take one of those Coffee Filter masks and find yourself a fresh steaming pile of Dog Shit and put on the mask and get that Dog Shit right in front of that mask. If you can still smell that Dog Shit, I guarantee that mask wont stop you from getting Covid-19. Roger
  3. The general public has not been trained and is ignorant to sterile technique procedures. If that mask gets soiled almost all lay persons will touch it an invariably touch near their eyes. Plus, most masks are not face shields and leave the eyes and their membranes exposed to coughed particles. Nurses may have to assist with sterile procedures so we have all been taught and tested at proper sterile techniques. Roger
  4. Unless it is an N-95 mask, the only thing a standard hospital mask or home made cloth mask does is keep you from spraying large ammounts of particles to others when you cough. It doesn't do practically anything to protect you from getting it and may even increase your odds of contracting it. Roger
  5. The CDC has adjusted their Covid19 deaths from 64,000 to 37,000. What do you think about that? Still scared? Angry yet?😷
  6. Noted, but realize three things here; 1st, Those are specialty rounds with faster burning powder for a pistol shotgun and NOT standard .410 shotgun shells. 2nd, That ballistic Jell has no kind of thick fabric to pernitrate firs like a winter coat. 3rd, This is a S&W Governor and NOT a Taurus Judge. This Governor's barrel is slightly longer for increased velocity achievable. Roger
  7. Those dogs are not very feral yet. Need to see some close up and personal for yourself ... Roger
  8. It wont let me download the photo file. It says I have a 2 Mb limit. Roger
  9. If all I had was a judge for home defense and it was loaded with a 3 inch .410 with #4 shot, I would aim for the face !! Roger
  10. When I grew up on the farm as a kid, our School system was shaped like a high school with 186 square miles in a school district with 5 elementary schools feeding into one High School with about 800 students in the high School. My bus ride was 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Elementary every day, one way. I was one of the last ones off at night and one of the first ones in the morning on though, two kids after and before us.. Roger
  11. Love your Ranch ... Can you raise anything besides Cattle ?? What does land out there bring an acre ?? Sorry I took so long. I had to give my Autistic Son a Bath and a Shower, then I took a shower and my Sugar went low so I laid down for a while. Roger
  12. There isn't a thing that a Tarus Judge or the Smith & Wesson Copy will do that an 11-87 Remington Semi Auto 12 gauge wont do better with an 18 inch, smooth bore slug barrel and riffle sites from Hastings and an aftermarket extended tubular magazine extension will do with 3 inch magnum shells for home protection inside your home...
  13. I have not heard that but it sure would not surprise me out of New York or Commiefornia... Roger
  14. The whole sales pitch for the gun is that it shoots shot shells but that won't pernitrate and are not accurate at any kind of distance with that ity bity snub nose barrel. Now as for 3 inch .410 slugs ?? Would you please explain to me what you think a .410 slug, with slower burning shotgun powder is going to be able to do that a .45 colt with faster burning handgun powder and a higher velocity out that teeny tiny snub nose barrel will do. Plus that gun is heavy as hell, unwieldy as hell, and that cylinder length turns into barrel length and less weight on my .44 Magnum, plus with my hand loads, I have shot two cylinders or 12 rounds off of sand bags at 150 Yards and covered the entire group of 12 with my closed fist. Let me see anyone do that with a .410 slug out of a judge !!!
  15. I would suspect that depends where you live.... I grew up on a 1,250 acre farm and since there are 640 acres in one square mile, that is pretty close to 2 square miles. How many acres do you own and is your closest neighbor about a half mile away ?? Roger
  16. I would suspect you do not live in a rural area. As I stated way back, they were cheap, about 200 even back in the 70's and we used them on the farms for livestock protection from Feral Dog Packs, Ground Hogs and even Fox. We would have laughed our butts off at you back then if you said you saw a Coyote back then... Also used these days for Fox, Groundhog, and pushing Coyotes and alot more can be done to accurize an AR these days than back then... My best friend the farmer who farms 4,500 acres and has a 400,000 Chicken egg farm has a $4,500 custom AR-10 chambered in .22-250 !! Roger
  17. I wonder what the large Die hand punch R on the Metal Plate means then ??? I assumed it meant Replacement as the two K-55V dual phase solder lug compression driver are no where near the same serial number ??? Roger
  18. I personally remember one hell of a lot more AR-15s in the Gun Shops in the early to mid 1970's than I see today....
  19. I hand load everything myself. Roger
  20. Mass shooting are in the minority of murders committed with a gun. Far more home invasions, numbers are NOT even in the same ballpark, and multiple assailants are common in home invasions. Local crooks robbed on of my moms neighbors at gun point. They were not home, it was the middle of the afternoon but a furnace repairman was there. They tied the repairman up with duct tape and proceeded to rob the house and left him there like that when they finished. I don't pretend to understand how anyone thinks, but if you have a wife and kids and intruders break into your house armed, I would hope you would arm yourself and protect your loved ones !! Roger
  21. We were not being invaded by anyone in 1776 either, we were British colony's under England's rule. The Colony's fought back against a tyrannical government and THAT is why we have the second amendment. I suggest you fully read ALL of the constitution. You will find the whole thing is about limiting Governments Power to keep them from stepping on individuals rights, NOT about giving government power to control the populace !!
  22. This is no different than just say "NO" to drugs! Laws and trying hasn't stopped much now has it ?? Do you think that Guns have killed anywhere near the vicinity of those killed by over the counter opioid's ?? Roger
  23. I have between 3,000 and 5,000 rounds on hand at all times. I would have more, if I were still able to work. Hell, I used to carry 1,400 rounds on hand just for .44 magnum. I have a 6 shot revolver and I used to shoot between 200 to 800 rounds in one day, every weekend, 6 rounds every time I loaded her and I hand loaded every round myself on my bench. Roger
  24. Locally, I belonged to two separate gun clubs, and what follows next proves why guns should NOT only be in the hands of only military and Law Enforcement. The County Sheriffs office always practiced at the one gun club. The County Sheriffs office was permanently kicked out of the club when it was discovered that it was them who was intentionally shooting trains when they would roll past the club. Also. when the Sheriffs office changed from .38 special revolvers to semi Autos, their instructor was inside his house, practicing his quick draw with his holster but the gun was loaded and he accidentally discharged a round that went through the wall and into the shower and permanently paralyzed his wife. Also, the first few months they had their semi autos an officer discharged 14 rounds down an alley at a suspect and never even hit the guy. I personally know the sheriff departments SWAT team sniper and I am a better shot.... Roger
  25. For never hunting Squirrels, you are quite thoughtful on this. I shoot basically two kinds of squirrels. I can shoot both squirrels and Deer locally. Squirrels are tasty and I hunt Fox Squirrels, which are a larger squirrels species, but it still takes at least two fox squirrels to equal one rabbit. There were zero Coyotes around here when I was growing up. Feral Dogs, yes, but no Coyotes. The Coyotes have descimated the rabbit population around here. I took my daughter rabbit hunting for the first time a number of years back and we hunted all day and never saw a single rabbit. I also slaughter Red Jimmy squirrels. Red Jimmy's are a lot smaller, nothing to eat, but they sneak up on Fox squirrels and bight them on their scrotum and sterilize them, so you treat them like a feral cat when you are hunting. Squirrel meat is not a staple, it is a nice change of pace once in a while. Kind of like Frog Lags or Crawfish... Roger
