  1. Would prefer local pick-up near Lima, Ohio. Custom center channel made from an RF-7 series one with a new motor board and wrapped in Ash. Grill is attached in place by magnets. This speaker is pictured next to an RC-7 for size comparison only. Prefer not to ship. Pick up in person for $650. Shipping is possible but not preferred. Will be cost of materials plus actual shipping cost and insurance  ,1960632397_klipschspeakersjune5.jpg.3fba41b86b1120fa4fb5ab684141ddbc.jpg

    Thanks Roger!
Waiting on a fresh roll of material to do another set now.  Darn waiting - OYE...

My daughter chose the stock dark brown cloth. I have a pair of Pro Split La Scalas, a pair of Pro Heresy slant monitors and I am currently working on a second pair of Pro Klipsch La Scala splits to get a center channel for my daughter and Luther Ward has eight sheets of Santos Rosewood I bought to wrap them in  :D

Roger, Roger.  Good price for splits I think.  Especially if they don't have any holes and if the drivers work.

Thanks dude !!! Fellow member "Mark" / Heaterman  that informed me of this add went 1 hour and picked up my set of splits and a second set of splits for himself  :D

    Thanks man !

The fellow forum member "Mark" / Heaterman  that alerted me to the sale only lived about an hour away and the seller had two pair of splits with trim and two sets of one piece Pro La Scala's with trim. Mark bought both pair this morning and is going to check on shipping for my pair. Do we meet great people or what on this forum ???

16 k miles is brand new -----for a 2005 -the shifter linkage can be changed ,  and so can the transmission which is a Tremec ------it definitely does not shift like a manual  Porsche , but at 1/4 of the price , it aint bad -she's the widest they make , this car takes up the entire  lane  from side to side --------forget the windows , doors , it's not made for tall guys -

    Randy,

What Tranny options fit and what about shifters ?

Yeah, she is wide, that console is real wide. First thing I have been in with him where we weren't really hitting elbows or pushing each others arms off of a console in the middle. Hell we can't even do that in his 3/4 ton Chevy or his 3/4 ton Ford

I take that back though, his H-1 was wider  :D

She steers like a Go-Cart, but the *** end is really loose. It is no wonder about 2/3rds of them are fixed wrecks.

She also needs a rear wing.

The guy my buddy bought this one from had a second one, with a wing, lots of carbon fiber and engine mods with nitrous and 900 rear wheel Horsepower,

I also like that it is a rag top.... maybe I am getting too old?

    WERE YOU IMPRESSED

    Randy,

Hell yea for a Chrysler. I think it needs twin turbos though and the stock shifter sucks for banging gears.

Also, he is about 6'2 and I am 6'3" and those doors and windows are for midgets. Furthermore those lower Rockers with the hidden side pipes get pretty friggin hot if you are putting your foot in her and it is hard to get in and out of without hitting those on your calf, but gets a lot more attention than a Vette and it is nice to drive a modern car that actually has torque! It didn't even lug in 6th gear at 100 mph. 19 mpg isn't bad for a big cube V-10 either.

The Copper Head edition was also put on a 500 pound diet.

  7. My best friend just bought a new to him toy 2 days ago and we took it out last night. Copperhead Edition #5 out of 300, never wrecked with 16,000 original miles... 100 mph in 6th gear comes in at 1,600 RPM's.

      510 Horsepower, 535 Ft. /Lbs. Torque.

    Realistically, no.

But, it won't hurt beyond your wallet.

Your power demand during a movie, perhaps excepting a heavy metal concert, will normally be just a few watts and peak well under 100.  That's how the manufacturers can get by with too small power supplies, They just aren't used.

A better solution for quality sound would be to a a multi-channel power amp for all channels and use your receiver as a pre/pro.  Look at Parasound, Acurus, Emotiva, Marantz, Rotel,

    John,

He has told us the speakers, but he has NOT told us the room size NOR the amount of music vs: Movies he listens to?

Depending on if you like movies or music more, I would spend the money on the best Sub you can afford and have room to fit first.

Secondly and especially if you have the room and funds, I would buy speakers that are the best you can afford.

John has mentioned some good brands of multi channel amplification, but if you have the real estate, I prefer multiple amplifiers over a single multi channel amplifier for EXACTLY the same reasons you want to try separates in the first place. I run four old Nakamichi Stereo amplifiers to get my seven channels of surround sound. Each of my amplifiers weighs around 75 pounds each, so I have around 300 pounds of amplification.

The place where separates will really shine is for music. Lots of headroom will give you a little better bass hit at low listening volumes, kind of like a loudness button.

    Any more questions please ask.

    Roger
