That was quick, congrats!
Yes, it was!!!!! But seeing that the cheapest on ebay was $299 for one.....it's believable . Sold for $350 on ebay - that should cover my fees and shipping and I'll still get $300 cash....but I would have gladly taken the loss to forum member - we're fam over here!!!!!

Sell two of them?
Just curious...
Yes, however I would charge about $12.50 for shipping. Buy all three - free shipping and you have an extra.
This is also a break from what I'm charging on ebay (the break is for the forum members).
My price is still lower than what people want for these on ebay - much lower!!!!!

Three Fostex T90 Supertweeters for $300 shipped....Nuff said
All three work properly - great for DIY projects!!!! I have the original boxes for 2 of them (I'll look for the box for the third one as well - if I can't find one - I will buy a similar box). All three will be shipped together and packaged properly!

I suppose people who enjoy it would call it that.
I'd call it wooden and boxy. Quartet being the worst offender.
You need to hear my Cornwalls - no boxy sound at all! I do have ALK crossovers in mine though.
-
I think I would have traded my Cornwalls for a pair of P-17B's

I would say setup 1 with setup 2's subwoofer. For the size of that room - I'd go no less than an R-115SW if you're staying with Klipsch subs. I'd actually recommend two of those subs for a 30ft x 13ft x 9ft room.

Took a better look around at noon. Had a 40 ft tall tree split at 12 ft up. It had to come down.
Glad to hear that you're ok as well...now I know another part of the Klipsch family in Northern FL!

I've sent messages to BillyBob and Breakdown7 to see how they doing. Both live in areas hit by Hurricane Hermine. I know it was "only" a Catagory 1 Hurricane, but they can do damage as well...lots of damage. Lets keep them in our prayers and thoughts!!!

To everyone - these are Great Speakers!!! I thought I had a buyer for them but it fell through. If I wasn't loaded up - I'd be all over these myself!!! If he doesn't sell these by December - I'm more than likely on it....and If I do get them - My Cornwall's with ALK Bv2 crossovers, walnut finish, custom glass tops, and Crites Tweeters will be for sale...all three of them (the center is a vertical). These are one of the few speakers that I will let go of my beloved Cornwalls for (the other being a KHorn). The Corns would come with an extra ALK crossover (for a total of 4) as well as the original crossovers with Sonicaps (three crossovers).

To each their own, but your money will go 3-4 x as far on the secondary market (or even much, much further if you are really lucky (yes, I am bragging about my $550 Khorns + Belle off craigslist again)) and you'll be happier in the end really planning out an end game for your system rather than just going all-in on a system all at once.
I've got Khorn envy!!!!! However I'm also happy for you too !!! That was the deal of a life time bar none!!!!!

Hi All,
Time for a home theater refresh! I have the video covered, overwhelmed by the audio choices. I've narrowed it down to Klipsch. No clue on Amp.
This is a 15x18 room with 9' drop ceilings and thick carpet.
I've done a ton of research so far but I just wanted to straight up ask for the community recommendations on speakers and an amp to drive them.
I'm coming from a Bose Lifestyle system which has been just okay, looking for a more premium setup this time around.
I have my eye on the RP-280 setup but think it may be overkill for the size of my room.
Thinking about a Denon AVR-X2300W or AVR-X3300W, thoughts?
Thanks for any help!
Bill
I think the RP-280 would be perfect for the size of that room - my room is just a little bigger than yours by about a foot in each direction and I had three Cornwalls up front. The RP-280's will do fine in that room

Tempted....tempted.......Ya'll know I just bought one earlier this year!!!!

We will be in touch with you, I can guarantee you that. We need any and all talent, skills, etc. The only real requirement is that you have an interest in Paul Klipsch and/or his products.
Always have ...Always will!!!!

What do we need to do to help this project go forward?!!! I think its very exciting and a piece of audio history!!!! I'm somewhat of a history buff anyway and kinda live in "vintage land".

By the way ....the aquisition of the Infinity speakers gives me two complete surround systems (speakers) for my sons if I pass away before them :)!!! They both have receivers and one has a complete surround system (the other lost one pair of my Heresy speakers when he moved to Portland ). One has Def Tech and the other is restarting with a two channel system (but has a surround sound receiver and a dac that I bought him for his birthday). This way there's no fighting over who gets the system (my daughter doesn't need one....got my son-in-law a system for his birthday a few years ago - and its not a HTIB system either, they're good)!

I'd be willing to trade - however, you'd be responsible for shipping these beast. Mine are not stock either, they have Crites Tweeters, ALK Bv2 crossovers, and glass tops. They are Oiled Walnut.
