  3. Say a prayer for my daughter Shania. She got in an accident while riding in a golf cart in Florida. She has broken toes, road rash and a big chunk out of her ankle. She is headed to see a pediatric surgeon at now a second hospital, as the first hospital did not have one on staff. The surgeon will need a CT of her ankle to determine what needs to be done as the Xrays were inconclusive. I guess the divot is pretty deep in her ankle and they are not sure if it is the bone or a ligament they are seeing from the outside. It is now almost 2:30 am and the accident happened around 5:30 in the afternoon so this has been a long day of waiting. I hope we get good news and that she won't need surgery.

They were going to start the long drive home in the morning but that is obviously not happening now.

    Update.

The doctors just put her under for about half an hour and cleaned out her ankle. They think she chipped the ankle bone but don't think anything else is wrong in there. No ligament damage that they can see and the joint seems okay too so far. They are worried however that the accident happened eleven hours ago and it is just getting taken care of now. They administered antibiotics and everything and they admitted her just now for at least a 24 hour stay so they can monitor the wound to make sure no infection has or will set in. My wife is supposed to be out of the rental home by eleven in the morning so she is scrambling to figure how or where she is going to stay. My MIL is going to call the home owner to see if she and the girls can stay longer, at least until my daughter gets released.

Please pray with me that no infection takes hold in my daughter.

Thanks in advance for your prayers and well wishes.

    Tim (teaman)

    10-4 prayers sent indeed.

I think US dollars but, I like Jason ideal better.

$5069 US dollars per a conversion table I found.  I'd like to see the insides.

I would too!!! I'm not in this league, but hey - its a new product! Now if I had great woodworking skills - I'd more than likely build my own speakers period!!!!

  5. I ask again....are you using Logic 7 on your HK?  You see, I used to own a Fosgate Audionics 3A THX/Harman Kardon AVP1  prepro...it has some of the best surround sound of anything I'd heard.  Then I upgraded to the Citation 7.0 (Six Axis), HK expanded on this with Logic 7.  These modes are very immersive compared to the modes on other equipment. I'm wondering are you missing that in the Integra?

I recently switched from using an Onkyo receiver as a prepro to a Yamaha Aventage - and my B&K amp couldn't be happier!!!! Much better match, even in stereo listening.

Grizzog I enjoyed your review! From what I got from it, the price difference wouldn't quite justify going for a new pair of Heresey. Also you don't quite like the looks of the Heresey compared to the RP towers? And MattSER I just missed an opportunity to snag a used pair of Heresey of craigslist that seemed to be in fine shape.

Actually, I love the way the Heresies look. They are so ugly that they are cool and they make me smile every time I see them. As far as sound goes, it's much different than the RP and they have a soul that the new ones just don't seem to have. Which one is better is up to you. Heresies are definitely worth a listen but I wouldn't say they will blow yours away.

Sorry for misinterpretating you. Not trying to get off topic, by what do you think of the 70th anniversary limited edition Heresey?

They are drop dead gorgeous IMHO!!!!! :D

  8. My 1968 Cornwalls are still going strong.

Same here - one 1968 vert and 2 1976 Cornwall 1's going strong....(I do have your ALK Bv2's in them though).  Drivers are fine (I did replace the tweets with Crites).  Woofers and Squawkers are all stock.

  9. I am selling a pair of JBL studio Series Floorstanding speakers. They are in good condition. One is mint, one has a dented dust cap and the back legs are detached but still fully usable and the dust cap dent does NOT negatively affect the sound. Truth of the matter is the speaker got accidentally knocked over and that was the result. As I said though other than that both are mint and sound as good as they day they were purchased. I am original owner, paid over 300 a piece for these around 9 years ago. No signs of driver deterioration or anything like that.

I will post the craigslist add for all information.
