  1. Sorry to be late to the party but I just got off work . I have a set of K-55V solder lug style for sale if your still looking .
  2. Not sure if it helps but here go's .I'm currently working on a KHorn build that has V-Trac mid horns with JBL 2482 drivers using JBL diaphram's ,JBL 2405 tweeters triamped. I have been trying out a BSS Omni drive 388 ,the mids are set at -10 db. They seem to be good at that level ,but it's a work in progress and not ready for prime time just yet.
  3. I was researching crossover builds for my Khorns and ran acroos this old thread , it may help , may not but I found it interesting. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/31771-aa-xover-modification/page-3?hl=+lamp%20+tweeter
  4. I'm realy leaning toward the TFM-25 going first ,its the noisiest one. I dont think I could part with th Mitsu just yet.
  5. The Mitsu sound very warm with the Heresy's but lack's the punch of the yamaha.I think if I had the matching preamp it would be even better.
  6. Thanks for the answers guys' I too think the Carver's sound a little harsh with the Heresy's,Oddly enough the Yamaha is the quitest of the bunch.
  7. Tough crowd around here, other than buy tube's no opion ?
  8. I'll be moving soon and need to lighten the load ,but I can't decide what to sell so I wanted to see what more knowledgeable Klipsch fans had to say. Over the last 3 years my amp collection has grown thru good deals and trades and now I need to decide with ones stay and which ones go. Currently I have two pair's of Hearsy 1's ,2 LaScala bins, Eventualy I want some Khorns but not yet. Now on to the amps . I have 1 Mistubishi DA-A15DC 150wattsx2@8Ohm's ,1 Caver A500X 250 wattsx2@8Ohm's , 1 Carver TFM - 25 225 wattsx2@8Ohm's , 1 Yamaha P2250 170 wattsx2@8Ohm's , 2 Yamaha P2050's 50watts x2@8Ohm's .I would like to what you guy's and girls think of these amps paired with Klipsch speakers, and over all Quality of sound and build. Thanks I advance, Steve R.
  9. Thanks for the help guy's.I think I'm going to keep them for now. When put under the Heresy's it t sounded better. But I also put them on either end of the couch facing it and they realy thumped!. I ran them in series and crosed over at 100HZ usin my Berhenger. it sound good setting on the couch but out in the room is was missing it.Worked well with suuriound movies so I think I will experiment some more.
  10. Thanks for the response. I've have a yamaha P2250, 170 watts a channel stereo amp for the Heresy's. I could use a yamaha P2050 I have,at 50 watts a channel for the bins.. I know the La Scala's aren't a sub, thats why I was wondering weather it was worth hooking them up. I've got a Behringer CX 2310 I can use as a cross over for stereo .
  11. Hello everyone,my name is Steve and I'm a Klipschohlic. After many years of fighting my addiction,I have givin in and just accepted it.So iv'e join the forum to ask my fellow addicts about my newest acqisition , a pair of lndustrial La Scala low bins with K-43 drivers. I want to use them to help my Heresy's and fill out the sound in my living room but I dont know exactly how to get the most out of them.I have read that the K-43 is an 4 Ohm driver so my question is do I use them as stearo subs and stack my Heresys on top of driving them at 8 Ohms OR run them in series and use them as mono subs maybe one on each side of the couch? Thanks in advance Steve R
