Arms out wide like you're trying to distract raptors in jurassic park, work him into a corner and gradually bring your arms close and closer u til you can grab him.

Try and grab so that you pin his wings against body OR go for the fit and flip him upside down and he'll go catatonic until you can hold him tightly in your arms.

If youw ant to bait the cat carrier, you could use just about anything. Toss some in the grass and let him taste it. Then make sure he sees you toss some in the carrier and he should go after it.

Patience and slow movements are key - he's faster than you when it matters most.

Thanks Michael, was hoping you'd chime in with some experience advice.

no need to feed them let him roam

He may get eaten by a fox or coyote before too long. Would rather capture and let the Humane Society locate a home for him.

Still pretty young, You could probably catch and process him as a broiler. Much older and you'll want to go to the stew pot.

He's still here, seems to know our lot lines exactly and keeps within our small city plot.

I'm not interested in processing this guy. We called the Humane Society and sounds like they'll take him, find a farm (or a home beyond city limits) that is interested I guess.

Any tips on catching him? We have a travel cat box....lure him in there with black sunflower seeds?

  4. Great work and a nice price. Surprising bass out of those narrow guys.

    Local pickup in Illinois...Southwest suburbs.

Love it, Chicago is the only place in Illinois.  😄

  5. Thanks for the feedback guys. Be great to have one of these, or one for each channel!

Local pick up only here in the beautiful Clarksville TN.

Understood. Sure wish we lived closer to each other. Good luck with your sale.

@314carpenter, are you still driving around the country?

  6. As old as they are, my stock Chorus II's sound very good to me. Haven't done any changes.

I tried Crites' Titanium tweeters in a couple different KG models, and noticed a brighter treble which isn't needed for my ears.

Play around with the placement of your Chorus II's. If your room has mostly hard surfaces all around that can contribute to a harsh sound.

Anyone have a recommendation for screening?

If the electrician is amicable make the change to one speaker, then compare it with the unaltered original. In Mono if possible. An immediate A/B comparison is more trustworthy than recalling a sound signature from memory.

  8. Thanks for your review. Totally agree about the 730 smoothness.

I've had a similar experience with Sansui and Marantz vintage receivers in liking the 730 better. Listening levels are around 80 decibels inside, 90 peaks.

Time to bring the R-117 outside and let it breathe!
