  1. Just sent you a pm. I like to here detail at low listining levels but when the family is out I tend to listen to things a little bit cranked up. Room Size 12' x 16' with cathedral ceilings and open to kichen dining room. Type of music everything...... I love well done music of most any genre.
  2. Thanks, what do you use now, do you still have them, how was the sound.
  3. I really dont have a clue when it comes to tubes. I am going to be driving a pair of belle's and do not want to have my first experience with tubes to be half a__ed. What do you recommend, mind you I cant spend alot.
  4. Anyone have any feedback or experiance with this companies products. For example this tube amp http://www.dared.us/products_i30.php .
  5. I am glad you are enjoying these as you know I was interested in them also. Thanks for the feedback. I ended up picking up some Belle's and hopefully will see them in another week or so. I have never heard either before so it is good to here from someone else on what ther first impressions are. Enjoy
  6. Usually, it's the glue that attaches the Velcro that comes loose. That is the problem I had, the glue that holds the velcro to the speaker.

  8. Do you know of an example of one that I can look at to better understand this?
  9. I just purchased a pair of rosewood belles. We recently moved to Colorado and our new home is smaller. In our old home I had two family rooms one with Klipschorns and McIntosh gear for two channel and down stairs I had my movie set-up with five RF-7II's and six ksp-s6's and an SVS PB-13 ultra. very happy and lucky to have both. I sold the two channel set up when we moved. Now I miss the sound quality from the K-horns (badly) but do not have the room so I am getting the belle's and will have to use them for movies also. I wish I could keep both because the RF's do an excellent job on movies. I want to run the belle's off of two systems if possible with some sort of a-b amp speaker switch without degrading sound quality, I would like to run them through my surround processor for movies and switch to a two channel tube set-up for music.
  10. That would be my main concern, I would not want to sacrifice any sound quality.
  11. O.K now it is going to be belle's. I bought a pair a week ago and they should be here in another week or so. I run three RF-7II's for my front sound stage right now because I just didn't think the RC sounded good enough, but I do not have the room or the resources right now for a third belle, mostly the resources. So, the question is about belle's with a heresy which I imagine woud be the same answer.
  12. I need educating. Is there a way to have my front speakers hooked to a surround processor for movies and hooked to a 2 channel tube set-up for music?
  13. If you find a set of zebra wood let me know I will split the cost for the pair possibly.
  14. Thank you, I will update when I receive them.
  15. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121180753811?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648 How about these?
  16. YUP. I am just trying to work out the details that is why I am pressing for info.
  17. I would prefer the looks and size of the belle's but as I said it is all about the sound, and would, at my wifes dismay, go less pretty if the sound is noticably better. I really miss the mids. I have a couple of belles I am looking at right now and some LaScalas unfortunately none are close enough for an audition.
