  1. Just got my chorus II TODAY!!!! I have been searching a long time and finally got the most perfect pair of OO at a great price-- and they sound----well---just like being in the front row. AWESOME!!!
  2. just moved to new house. Just added Academy to the Fortes. 2 rotel 981 in mono(360w) driving fortes. All good except hardness of room. And I know the Sammy needs to be on the wall but not there yet!
  3. Oh, I still have them and the heresy and now the forte. Im just getting started. La scala next? Cornwall?? Its all good! Lol!
  4. iTide I was happy with the RF-25 but I was after that sound I heard from the Heresy when I first heard them back in 1985 while in the Army in Germany. The 25s have a different sound, good but different. When you start with these Klipsch it then becomes a habit. You want more and more. Enjoy yours!
  5. Please clarify. What exactly looks cheesy?????
  6. Sounds like a wonderful system that you have. This is beginning to be pleasantly addicting. klipsch are unique art of the ear and eye. prost.
  7. No wrong format here. That image is SD DVD fully upconverted by PS3 set to auto. PS3 is off to the left. The hell freezes over comeback special is awesome in DTS. That paticular frame shot just appears to be distorted.
  8. That tounge and groove looks awesome. These pics are latest incarnation of my HT. Just added the Forte I in place of Heresy II. I think I have found the soundstage I have been searching for a very long time. The sound makes me happy and the wife is starting to come around to the Klipsch magic. I really was not searching for the Forte as I was using the Heresy(aquired last May) for mains(which replaced the RF-25). But I found these locally and could not pass them by for the money(3bills) and the condition(cabinets 9 out of 10-stained covers missing tags on both).
  9. Yes, I did have my speakers registered with Klipsch and thats probably why it was no problem getting it replaced. I purchased my RF-25 originally from a small tech solutions company for a discounted price and maybe they were B stock(non consecutive #s). It was different # tweeters they sent me to swap out. I was just happy that they fixed the problem for me.
  10. I lost a tweeter on one of my RF-25. Called parts guy at klipsch and gave him serial#s(not consecutive) and he said they were part of bad run of old style # tweeter. Replaced BOTH with new crossovers and tweeters. Just like brand new now. might want to call and check. Mine were still under warranty. Good luck!
  11. Islander, Thank you very much for the detailed info. I apologize for my ignorance concerning the ohm setting. But that is why I joined this forum. To get help and correct info when needed. I am thrilled with MY Heresy II and look forward everyday to listening to their majic. Thanks again for your time!
  12. Just aquired a mint HII WO set(sonic heaven) and have a question about ohm settings. Yamaha HTR-5850 6.1 (I know, i know). The RF25s I switched with the HII are 8 ohm along with my RC35 and RS10(have a small living room). Because the HIIs are 4 ohm, I switched setting to 4 on the receiver. Is that OK with the 8ohm others?? Yes, im dorf at this but am learning. Back in '85/86 when I was stationed in Berlin Ger.I heard my first set of Klipsch(Heresy) when my roommate purchased HBR at the PX. Its been 24 years and finally, now I have my very own to squeeze tight!! Hope Im OK at 4. Thanks in advance!
