  2. Here’s a new one for my collection
LP at 45rpm and limited number master pressing
Not sure if I’ll ever open it, it just looks to good to open. I ordered it 8 weeks ago and just got it yesterday
This is my first 12” LP with the 45rpm speed
Is the sound really that much better?

  3. While waiting around for various parts I decided to rebuild the crossovers of these H1's I just picked up. I had all of these parts handy which means I can resell the original E networks to someone that wants originals. Will also be nice and easy to throw some 2uF's in parallel when the woofers and ports arrive. Very happy with how these turned out even though they'll live in a box forever.

Why mount them back inside? Mount them pretty things on the outside, I’m going to do that and make some clear boxes for them

  4. I’ve seen and heard a very nice McIntosh system. all the speakers were Klipsch RC64 gen 2. That says was so sweet sounding. He had them all standing up . The sound was very good with that center speaker sitting on its side, we even played with how they were setup and could not here any difference with the sound. He did not rotate the tweeters or anything like that. It’s been about 10 years sense I’ve seen this setup, and I believe it was just a plan old 5.1 setup. It was kind of funny to see all of those rc64 speakers sitting on the end sides. They are pretty tall when done like that.

  5. Let me throw a red flag up for this one, because:
Rhys Stevenson has more than one FB profile in Nashville; these profiles were created in 2021; has 3 friends in one profile and 2 friends in the other. It looks like someone has created this profile to maybe protect the person's personal profile, but I don't know.

I did send a message and he gave me a phone number to call. Have not called him yet

  6. I have used stands for my H1’s and when I had H2’s. Loved the sound from them, personally, I don’t like the sound of them when they are on the floor. I’ve even had my kg4’s on 18” stands and the sound was very pleasant. Honesty, when most of the Klipsch speakers with a passive radiator on the back, to me have a more muddied sound. And when I place them on stands and move them around to enhance the base response. They always sound we are in an muffled when they’re on the stand. I’m not relying completely on having the tweeters and mids at ear height. As these horn speakers radiate at such a nice angle that you can have them elevated and still have a nice wide sweet spot . No matter what speaker brand and model, I use a subwoofer system. Specially with Sherwin Vega, as I feel their speakers are over emphasize on low frequencies and sounds like crap. That’s why I like to cross them over a little higher at around 120 Hz and use my subwoofer to have a much clearer low frequency. I’m not one who likes to add bass to music that did not have it in the first place when it was recorded.

  7. I’ve used a business card and would curve it and slide if into the slot that the coil rides into. And I would pull stuff out that I could not see.

Maybe give that a try. If you have not already done so
