  8. I've never had fortes and was not trying to offend anyone, sorry it did sound a bit rude after I read it again. I had just been reading the post "klipsch speakers suck" where they spoke of the fortes history. I agree whatever sounds better IS better. Some people are particular about the name though, thats why a pair of jeans can cost in the hundreds (not any I own)
  9. I would still not give up on the product. If the new tubes dont fix it I would have them just replace the unit. If you then still have the hum It's time for a different product for sure. I hope it gets fixed for ya.
  10. WELCOME. I just love a JERRY refrence in music concideration. Heck if your going to do a build check out JUBILEE or JAMBOREE you have pleanty of room and one hell of a system. PEACE
  11. FOR SURE, get the heresy's. Fortes WERE considered heritage for about four years then not considered heritage. BUT heresys are. Nice price too ; )
  12. Oh also what did you mean by lifting it above ground, I guess im not understanding. Also dont give up all hope for the product or PV&E, im sure they will come thru. I realy like mine, just want you to get the same experience.
  13. As I said, I haven't tried the stock tube but am wondering if that could be your trouble. I would contact them and see what they recomend. If you get your other tubes first, try them out, can't hurt.
  14. Jhoak- did you add it to your system yet? what do ya think?
  15. No, I've only used the 2 upgrade tubes. Right now I am sticking w the JAN6922. Don't wait till you get your upgrade tubes, give the stock one a try.

  20. Zack Starkie(Ringo Stars son) was the drummer and has been since before 9-11. You can watch them on "The concert for NYC". A realy good concert is The Who live at royal albert hall, really good show!
  21. You know, they only had 12 min. to play.Roger takes 15 just to get warmed up. And no he can't hit the highs anymore but they compensate for that.I will still see them even if they play from a wheelchair. THEY STILL ROCK!
