Many of you might have noticed that the 4.2 are being now offered as 300$ value from the previous 400$ value!they say to compensate those who cant wait for 4.1!!! Well hell the 4.1 is sold at the klipsch store and the 4.2 is only being sold at klipsch store for 300$. Does this mean that the 2.1 are that much over valued that klipsch can cut off a 100$ from 2 peices which is 25% discount (they arent losing money or need it since 4.1 are selling like hot cakes right ) Well I am thinking about it and for all of you how say that this is a special offer (rread) and Special offer my arse! (Giants Kaboto ) I still think 4.1 is better than 4.2!!

If your room mate did this to you and you got a replacement, Damn it your lucky (that if they replace the guys who sell usually hate refunds and relacing even if it is their own fault). Then how come they were delivered without a signature you usually sign (this signature is to insure that something like this doesnt happen). hmmm.... now between you and me are you opting for a 8.2 system

I second Paragon here , and moreover, 30Watts for a speaker is too weak for me at least ! 4.1 is crossing the Atlantic for me

Well GoG I'll answer you in points so that you follow me 1.The transformer is 140$ different than the same one found in the U.S (I live in lebanon) 2.It is locally made (I tested it as I mentioned ) so can you to ease your mind. 3.I think (guess) there is at least a 100$ differnce given that the 2.1 are sold for 300 $ in europe (maybe the 4.1 will cost about 500$) it depends where you live) 4.About the grounding I mean the transformer I bought that not have a ground(it's cheap remember ) Grounding is for safety and is required by U.S law (thats why I reconsidered exporting them) Cheers!!

did I forget to mention the transformer cost me 10$ For all of you who think it isn't a good one ,I tested it in the engineering lab at the unversity and it give excellent conversions and did deliver an approx. of 10Amps to a load (promedia require a max of 6 Amps) 10Amps means it can go as high as 1100Watts . Anyway it seems that transformers are much expensive in the states for several reasons.(I found the tranformer I bought in an U.S add for about 150$ ) Wow I might just export these babies , but then I think the regulations there require a grounding(none here) The only thing that remains is the frequency around 50Hz here and in Europe I guess , but it doesnt really matter since the Amplifier rectifies the A.C voltage to a DC voltage. After an intial debate about how bitrates differ in qality after 128 bits,so I guess the best way is to download the same MP3 twice in different bitrates one in 128 and the same in an 256 or 326 bit format and then judge on the difference (done it already?) The question reamins which MP3 demonstrates the capalities ,or let me say distinction from the other brands , of the klipsch promedias and remember A Song Tune an not a test sound like pink or bass test . Remeber your choice tells a lot about..........

Well I second Gxcad and may i add that Teac is best CD-ROM drive it beats those with much higher speeds (giveen it has a lower speed) I would say a 24X speed Teac beats a X36 competition(not exaggerating here). As for the sound card , well there can be some debate here, but both are fine. As for the monitor try the Ilmya 21" or 19"(give a look) As for the video card my suggestion is that you wait for the GEOFORCE 3 . you can either get (if you can offered it ) or cut some other parts and get it , or even better get the GEOFORCE 2 ULTRA it will have a lower price then. Finally I suggest a 500w+ power supply because you have a large monitor ,but then I dont think the electricity cuts off often in the U.S.

Well most people consider MP3's with bitrates of 128 to be CD quality , yet many songs are still (some at Napster) are at higher bitrates. Some might say there is a difference and most argue that your ear wont distinguish a difference for bitrates higher than 128. What do YOU ThinkTextc>Textc>

Although 300$ for desktop speaker is quite alot, one might quess they are manufactured with highest quality components, well thats not true and what you are experiencing just shows that. I think klipsch manufactures in china and to cut costs standard to low quality componets are used (some home audio systems use gold wires in their amps ,but they aren't present here), I guess thats why some high quality expensive dont deliver the 400watts because they cost so much. My guess if they use good components it would cut their profit by 50$ or they would have to raise the price. This might also be a reason why they didnt make a dual switch in their amp (110-220) to cut the cost of some wiring which is well justfaiable. So the Conclusion is that if you can change any part by a better one (wire) go ahead , it might as well differ!
