  1. Dolby atmos.......Let's see .....We would all need to buy a new processor....Then instead of buying new speakers......now listen carefully.....we all turn our speakers on their back sides and point the drivers toward the ceiling .....then we calibrate.......done.... No wait.....2016 comes along Dolby Labs introduces an upgrade to Atmos....Called Dolby Atmosphere

  2. There are other ways to do things....You could look into the KG series ... I have seen KG 5.5 in real nice shape going for $300/$400...That is 1/3 to 1/4 of what it going to be for the RF7's.

Well even if you go KLF /20/30 series you would be able to buy surrounds and still be around the price of RF 7's.  I ran KG 5.5 with RC3 II  and a couple of pairs of RS3 II's for years.

You have to keep your eye out...everyday....check C/L ...Ebay...This forum Garage sale...as a mater of fact the Garage sale is where I got my Academy...it was like new...even better after mods

    Things to think about

Every time my wife looks at what I am doing on this PC or my tablet...She says "Is that all you ever look at is speakers"

  3. Think about it this way.....First let me say I own 3 RSW10's. But when you really think about it...and all of us who own RSW sub's know this..... Having the rear driver being the active driver ....placement on any RSW sub is critical as to how they sound. I found in a corner

12 to16 inches away from both walls being best. Maybe just maybe these new R-SW series being front firing might be easier to place...??

  4. I run windows 7 ...And Media Browser 3 server with clients. I run 2 home theater Pc's in different rooms with the server being in the basement.

Love the way it works...all movies/music/everything plays on every PC/ tablet /cell phone in the house. They even got their own player Media Browser Theater which is nice ...but does a better job of interfacing with windows 8 but does work with windows 7.
