  1. Guys, I'm moving everything into my newly turned theater/garage/living space. I will post pictures once It's completed.
  2. Looking for a cornwall speaker. If I have to buy a pair, I will. Anyone know of anyone that has them?
  3. I believe he is a cabinet maker / wood worker in Oklahoma. He had the jube clone bass bins on ebay last year. He doesn't build for Klipsch, so Amy's answer is uncircumstantial. She has probably never heard of him. Infomercial=Selling tactics?
  4. Hello fella's. Just my input. I was going to purchase jubilee clones by Tony Ham. I am anal so I decided to do more research on the different Jube clones and noticed that most if not all of them were not CnC'd. There are many variables when trying to attain the best "sound" you can get for your dollar. Unless you have a boat load of money or hit the lottery, it's going to take time to get where you want to be. It has for me anyway. I'm sure it has been that way for other jube owners (Richard, Mike, Rigma, etc) Even though I am at a place with my system I thought I would never be, I am still looking for more. I personally plan on getting another pair of jubes from Klipsch once my 30X40 addition is complete. Yes it's madness, but it's what I enjoy.
  5. Cask05: Clearly, everyone makes their own decisions against what they are willing to trade in order to achieve some aggregate performance: the "how it looks" factor is much less important in my rig...I obviously pursue the attainment of audio performance over appearance I persue audio performance as well Chris. It's not that I don't care about the aesthetics of the room, what I hear means more to me.
  6. I haven't done that yet since I'm never at home hardly [H] I do wonder how the jubilee would sound three way though. I have listened to my single la scala and it's a huge difference now that I have been playing these things. To be honest when I listen to music it sounds better if the center channel is off. Everything sounds best when I run either just the jubes or the jubes and the side channel RF63's. After moving the output of 1/4 and 2/5 up 6db, it's scary Richard. I haven't gotten up the nerve to push anything past half way on the volume on the sonos. It sounds like war inside my house when I'm out by the mailbox. I think this summer, I may put them outside on the deck and have a killer party. Of course I will have to let everyone in my cul-de-sac know in advance.
  7. Come on in Jacksonbart. I have hot coco and strumpets waiting for you!
  8. Thanks Larry for providing the pics of that wonderful Saturday afternoon! Thebes, that was worded perfectly! I told you not to mention the wine and cracked crab! I was also floored the first time I heard that live version of "Hotel California". :You definitely feel the music. It is true that I am not done with what I have on my rig. I was very grateful to have other Klipsch owners to listen to what I have. None of the folks that I hang out with have no idea what Klipsch speakers are, but they know what they hear at my house and they can't believe it. Again, I don't think there is ever an end to the ongoing pursuit of better sound. Yes Richard, there is pizza left. I was hoping you and MikeTN would have showed up on suprise. I owe you guys so much for where I am at now with my system. Not that your going to get more than wine and cracked crab either!
  9. Thanks for everyone coming and listening to my rig. As always anyone is welcome to come and listen. I think there is bass all over the room Mike. The only issue I had was the input lights were getting near the yellow/red so I just bumped up the output side by 6db and now it's perfect. I'm not really a professional on organ music, but I think when we are listening to that track, alot of us were also talking and the volume may not have been up to hear some of what was missed. All of us are always trying to get to that next level and that doesn't exclude me. I'm sure down the road when the time is right, I will get Mac gear to run the bass bins. Until then, I'm having a blast with my setup. For both Music and Movies!
  10. I let Larry know that we would be starting between 10 & 11.
  11. Everyone is welcome. The twins are here. Those with pacemakers may want to reconsider.[H]
  12. Yes, there will be drinking on my part. Mike, here are some pics of the rest of the room.
  13. Richard, you will have to bring your own Marie Osmond and Lawrence Welk CD's []
  14. Hello everyone. This is the formal invite to come to Richmond VA for a gathering to listen to brand new Jubilee's on April 30th. Let me know who is interested. This is what you will be listening to.
  15. Larry, the weekend works perfect for me. Thanks Mike. I will get it downloaded tonight.
  16. Larry, I can do it anytime actually. I work from home so I can have the gathering anytime a group would like to come and partake of this amazing sound. The DAC connected to the Sonos system really provides an awesome sound. Those that have jubilee's, what size speaker wire did you run to the HF? Ironsave, thanks bro!
  17. It's definitely scary tragusa3. I thought I read on here that someone had a 7.1 surround system with 7 jubes. I couldn't imagine that. Sounds like some sort of punishment to make someone talk. []
  18. Tom, thanks for the compliment sir. Larry, that DVD will work and Wuzzer, yea, I wish they would have arrived too! Again, it was a long journey but when you ever come back to VA, stop by and have a listen. That invite goes to anyone on this forum that would like to hear them.
  19. There are a few good places around here of where to stay. Yepper, I have a blu ray player in the mix. Just got done watching star trek on blu ray. Amazing! Let me know who wants to come and I can get some details of where to stay near my house.
  20. Thanks SpeakMeister! Very happy to be part of the club as well!
  21. Dtel, thank you very much. I think so too! Mike, thanks again! When I saw the boxes at the terminal, I said "that isn't mine" I thought they would have been a smidgen smaller than what they are. Big boxes and Huge sound!
