  1. lol....just go to www.monoprice.com and go to the optical cables and get one that is the right size for you. Also order yourself some 12 guage speaker wire if needed and other cords you need. Good luck
  2. Yeah go to monoprice.com and order a premium optical cable at what length you need. A digital coaxal would work too but i suggest optical. I had to "turn on" the optical port i was using through my receiver. Had to use the onscreen guide to do it. Good luck. Look at the manual for your receiver if you have trouble or ask us here. Your name and avatar are scaring me
  3. Too bad you didnt get 3 projectors! I saw a thread elsewhere about people picking them up for $400. Great deal i think, you really cant go wrong. New bulb, probably a year warranty. Looks nice, good name brand. I really want a projector but i dont think i am going to get one. Dont know why...So you can probably get a screen for a little over a hundred and then wires. You are looking at around $600 for something that will beat out any tv at or near the same price. Nice score!
  4. gary i have seen your setup here on the forum before. You are one of the lucky few to have a dedicated ht. You also did a really nice job with it! Great pic by the way, magazine worthy. Yeah i went from 2 velodyne dps-10s to this 14''. The velodynes were 165rms and this is only 300rms. The velodynes did a great job i have to admit. This thing gives some good bass, i am sure i am going to warm up to it alot in the time to come.
  5. Gary that is a paradigm dsp-3400 about 4 days in my house now. Still breaking it in and yes i doubt any dust will ever get in there[]. I just put the covers back on the sub and speakers and now they actually match each other quite good. Would have liked a reference sub but i think this one will take me where i want to go. The stand did hide my wires amazingly well, i am really enjoying its looks.
  6. It is the atc-2101 and it is not cheap, i got mine used. I really like the looks of it, looks even better in person. Would love to get my hands on a matching tv stand. Now i have to start planning for the addition of a rc-62 or 64. Eventually everything will get moved into the living room and my other 2 channel will get moved into my bedroom. Well i have 3 (or 4 if i want to move the panther) shelves left on my rack, that has upgraditus written all over it.
  7. Yeah is the bottom shelf taller? If so i would switch them out. Mine doesnt run hot but it does heat up, i imagine with more than one amp running it could get quite warm.
  8. oh d@amn you gotta be happy! Is that a z-line stand?
  9. Yeah i was stepping up from receiver that wasnt Great too and it makes it easy to notice a difference. I have only used mine for 2 channel since i got it and look forward to once i finally get my HT going again to hear 5 channels. Seems like it would really be a greatmatch for the rf3s. Yes give us pics!
  10. My home theater, umm well it is the start of it. Just got the Bell'o stand today and thought i would share a pic. Let me know what you think
  11. Lol how long have you had your equipment just sitting around not being used? You need to get jammin! Yes you can run just a standard RCA cable from the back of your speaker to your coresponding preout of your receiver, here is a link to the 12ft edition of the cable you would want to get http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10236&cs_id=1023603&p_id=2682&seq=1&format=2 They have that cable in longer lengths too if that would work better.
  12. Well the cable bill better go down once i am getting my internet via wifi streamed from a blimp/ satalite
  13. Some cable companys are getting $130 a month between tv and internet per customer. I do not see how profit per customer is not nearly as great as i think it is.
  14. Yes i would order your wires as soon as possible. Use www.monoprice.com for all of your cable needs. Order like 4 hdmi cables and know that 1 of them has to be long enough to go from your receiver to your tv. The other 3 i would get in 4 and 3 foot lengths. Order the 12 guage standard speaker wire (not the one with the white coating unless you are running it through your walls). I would also order some closed screw banana plugs as they clean up your cabling a bit (there is a link to a install tutorial for these right on their page at monoprice). Order a optical cable if you need one. They have a premium 2 rca plug to 3.5mm plug that i found was useful for hooking up mp3 player/ ipod. They have a great assortment of cords so order anything else you might need (subwoofer cable if you have or are getting as subwoofer). They even have really cheap and effective wall mounts for your tv if that was something you are interested in. You can copy paste what you are ordering here before ordering if you want some of us to check it out to if you are worried about if you are getting the right things. You can get aton of great fun stuff for around $50 shipped
  15. The 806 should serve you amazingly well. Heard a few units have an issue with producing white spots through hdmi but i wouldnt expect it. Did you get your speaker wire yet? You have made some great decisions, first with going with klipsch and second with that receiver. Yes we do need pics.
  16. The rc-62 is part of the rf-62 package. I would definantly lean towards the rc-62. Since the rc-62 is sonically matched for your speakers that means you could step up to the HUGE rc-64 but it is not budget friendly. The rc-35 will also work for you and is really easy on the budget!
  17. Thats right you have the rt-10d. Gosh my system is never going to be good as yours especially now that you have the outlaw on the way[Y] Too bad i cant give it a listen. Any chance of said employee hooking me up lol indy is only a skip and a hop away from me and i have relatives there. What do you think about setting a 32'' lcd ontop of the rc-64 with a cloth under it? Watch any good movies lately?
  18. Wasnt this just a thread? I plan on watching alot of movies i have already seen once i get my set togethor. I hear"This is it" is great as well.
  19. Yeah it is the 14'' sub. Jrod i feel the same way playing the patient game you can acquire a great system piece by piece. Some pieces you really cannot find used for a good price though. Considering eventually getting the rc-64 on fleabay new. Can maybe get a black one for $600 if i wait a bit (which i have to atleast a month). Where did you get yours jrod and can i have it.
  20. I paid more than you jrod[]. Also learned today that a rc-64 may be in the nearing future
  21. You wait for your stuff JROD? Hah just kidding you lucked out $280 shipped!!? You are going to have to overload us with pics! Can anyone name this sub?
  22. Goodluck Jrod i hope you get it! okay my evil plan is coming togethor, maybe new subwoofer by tomorrow night?
  23. Welcome! I love seeing new klipsch setups!! Yours is looking great. Must sound jawdropping. I am not entirealy sure what i am looking at. Adcom amps, cool dishnetwork receiver. What is the unit in the top left corner? Power conditioner? Middle is that a nad pre or something?
  24. Here is a nice one in bakersfied is that within driving distance? AVR4802 you could maybe get it for $200. http://bakersfield.craigslist.org/ele/1634610620.html
