  1. I thought that the Academy sounded good between the Chorus IIs that I have. It was not quite as efficient, but itdefinetely sounded good. I have moved on. I sold the Academy to another forum member for some cash and KG2s. That cash covered the single forte II that is now my center and the quartet that is my rear center.

  2. I was letting everyone else know that they are KLF-10 and KSC-C1 instead. I did get more pictures today finally. He was a little slow. It is always good to verify the goods first. That why I had requested photos. And I want to listen to new equipment before purchasing from garage sale/craigslist.

  3. I talked to this guy because if all driver are working this is a steal of a deal but now I have to work all weekend so I cannot go get them. I want to throw it out to the forum. Findlay is about 2 hours from Fort Wayne, an hour from toledo, 2 hours from cleveland and 2.5 from Cincy.

He will throw in the KSW200 for $75 with the other speakers but I do not know if it is even worth that.

I wanted to put this offer out to the Forum because it is a deal. I really wanted the KLF-20 but work and life(the wife) gets in the way. I was figuring on selling the KLF-C7 to make the price even better.

  4. I have a chance to get this sub as a "throw-in" in a package deal for $100 (maybe I can get him down to $75). I want the rest of the stuff, and could test out a sub I guess. I do not know where it would go as it does not seem like it would be helpful for the Chorus II mains and Forte II center in the home theater. But Maybe just for the LFE in movies. IDK yet. What does everyone else think?

    Thanks for the help.

  5. I personally have always considered the Chours/forte/Quartet Line as Heritage products (or extended Heritage). That would also push the Academy into that line following the thinking process. This thought line comes from the Cornwall being suspended while the Chorus/forte was around. So I think of them as part of the lineup.

The Tanget 400, 500 and T4000, T5000 use similar parts (H2 parts for 400/500 and forte 1 passive for 500. But the cabinet quality does not measure up to the Heritage line.

The Legend (KLF) and Epic (CF3, CF4) have piqued my interest. The praises that have been sung about them have made me want to make sure I get a listen to them.

And finally, the KGs have some good speakers but I would never consider them as Heritage.

  6. Just wanted to point out that:
