Thats what i was wondering cuz i have 7.1 Receiver but it does not highlight the rears when im plugged into the rears and not the sides...
-
Onkyo TX-S875 Whenever watching tv or movies it displays that it's using the side surrounds not the rear. But I have my surrounds connected to rear
-
Little help here anyone? Should I have my speakers hooked up to the side or the rear surrounds??
-
What is dialogue normalization?

Ok, so I feel noob asking this question... My receiver has highlighted "LS" and "RS" instead of the "SBL" and "SBR" but I have my 5.1 hooked up as front and rear not front and side surround. So... Does the side or rear surrounds get used the most? so should I have my speakers connected to the side surrounds or rear surrounds?

Yea really... I'm surprised no one wants to show off their system in here!

Adjust DIALOGUE on Onkyo TX-SR875? Help
TurboGen replied to TurboGen's topic in Technical/Restorations
Timing. The sound is slighty behind the picture. When I turn my tv volume up (both sounds on) the receiver's sound is behind/slower than the tv sound. I know it's not "lip sync" I just can't seem to find dialogue settings.. -
I have Onkyo TX-SR875 receiver and the sound does not match the picture. Message displays on receiver when I change sources... Something about "norm dial (- 4db)" The message is something similar to that.. I can't remember exactly. I've looked in my manual for long time and can't seem to find anything regarding it... Any help?

I was wondering about that, how would sound with both front and rear center at the center. i currently took away the KV-1 center speaker and put a SB-20 bookshelf speaker in it's place and it sounds much better! I was going to look into a SC2 center speaker but I was trying to do with what I already have and didn't know If having two bookshelf in place of one center would be better or not.. I'll stick with the one bookshelf untill I get the C2 center speaker that matches te rest of the system. thanks!

I thought I stated the sub works, it's the amp. I was searching for amp solutions. I already re-soldered the connections and seems to cut in and out which is better than no sound... I know these amps don't last long. Not very well made. Curious if there is a similar amp I could use

I believe I Have both a front and a rear center option. Could I use both and place both in te front?
-
Well, my center speaker isn't all that great compared to the rest of my speakers it's the weakest and oldest and everything else overpowers this center... I hooked up one of my spare SB-20's to my center channel and it sounds a lot better than the KV-1 I had Hooked up Is there a way for me to hookup both of my SB-20's for a center speaker? I have both front and rear center option.. Could I use an SB-20 on each one and put them both on the front? How would this work? Thanks

Setting Hz levels on receiver for Klipsch Speakers?
TurboGen replied to TurboGen's topic in Technical/Restorations
I have two SB-20's laying around that I was going to sell... My receiver has front and rear center option. Could I hook these two bookshelf speakers up to a front and rear center terminal..? Or would that sound really weird with both being in front? I want to try and improve my center's sound. Any other options? -
Setting Hz levels on receiver for Klipsch Speakers?
TurboGen replied to TurboGen's topic in Technical/Restorations
Thanks so much for the advice! I'll adjust my sides and rest of the speakers. I'll have to buy a new center channel cuz whenever people talk it's so quiet. The other speakers overpower the center... -
Well no sound comes from my sub anymore... I tested the subwoofer, it works, so must be this bash amp... any likely resolutions to the issue?

Setting Hz levels on receiver for Klipsch Speakers?
TurboGen replied to TurboGen's topic in Technical/Restorations
I have an Onkyo TX 8xx (forget exact model) I have my subwoofer on the receiver set at 80hz I have the fronts at 40hz since my towers can handle 35hz. Is that a good idea or should i still habe them set at 60hz? And 80hz on the center and surrounds/rears. -
Setting Hz levels on receiver for Klipsch Speakers?
TurboGen replied to TurboGen's topic in Technical/Restorations
No, my receiver has a crossover setting for each individual speaker including subwoofer. I already have my sub setup, my question is for the rest of my speakers.. I have setting for fronts, center, rears, surrounds, subwoofer, and zone speakers. I can adjust each individual speaker since my fronts and center and surrounds are all different speakers. What should I set each of my speakers at? -
Trying to figure out what hertz settng I should select for all my speakers.... I have in my setup... - F3 towers for fronts - KV-1 center - SB-20's for rears and sides my receiver has a wide range of hertz selections. However, "80hz (THX)" I have that selected for all my speakers currently. But my towers can handle 35hz... So what should I do
