what don't you like , the shape or the fact these are plain plastic -------replacements can be wood or metal or even spikes -

I would try the generic chinese -----I never tried them , but I plan to , and I would be very curious to see how they perform - these diaphragms are not that hard to manufacture , with the right tooling ---all new diaphragms are aftermarket rated a 6.2 ohms just as the Chinese are ---the originals are nowhere to be found -

-Hi Bruce , what result did you achieve by Front mounting the k400 - and 2)-did you front mount the K77 tweeter as well -or are you using a different setup with your APT 150

flush mounting a k400 really looks good without a grille , on a LaScala --- but on a Khorn , you can't see it behind the grille -
