First of all Jerry, welcome to the Klipsch forums.  I can't believe it took you so long to find us!  I assure you that you are among kindred spirits here.

I really think you came to the right place.  We don't like our Klipsch speakers, we love our Klipsch!  I think your best best bet is to find someone here to pass your Khorns along to.  Ebay and Craigslist, you don't know who those people are.  There are no flippers here, and when you find the right person for your Khorns if you send me a PM I will try to help you be confident in your choice.

Who am I?  A Klipsch lover, 62 years old.  I formally had Khorns and La Scala's.  I like the older stuff.  I've been on the forums since 2014.  I am from West Virginia and not a potential buyer/owner for your Khorns.

"There are no flippers here" Seriously Dave? There's people who would pull their grandma's teeth to get the gold out of them.

    While she was awake.  LOL

Monster Onkyo TX-RZ1100 (200wpc, 9.2) AVR on FleaBay ... one day left ... current bid $310 ... best price I found online is about $1400.

Tempting, but ... requested seller to take it out of the "UNOPENED" box and test it ... replied that he did not have equipment to test it but guarantees it to work :(  Was prob bought by someone and not used ... unfortunately Onkyo warranty is NOT transferable :( Takes "balls" to buy this :D Not ready to "gamble" as I just bought an AV processor :)

Good for you.  Your liver will thank you.  Chin up, only 24 more days to go.  It ends just in time for the super bowl if you are so inclined.

I'm drinking but not enough to cover you guys, not enough time in the day for that

I would wonder how these really sound like ,I never saw a pair anywhere in my neck of the woods -

the sad part is that they were not powered speakers , with built in amps

Fortunately they weren't self powered with built in amps. Look up the KSP-300 and KSP-400 for built in amps that fail

Had some of this New Years Eve.  I'd never heard of it prior.  It's listed as a beer but for more details you can google Sam Adams Utopia.  I've never had anything quite like it.  I was told that msrp on a bottle, if you can find one, is $200 and secondary is about 5 or 600. To me it was more like a liqueur than a beer.

There's a couple stores that have it, one has it at $229 and the other at $249. If secondary is that high I need to buy them and flip. The two I've seen are gold bottles if that makes a difference. I just picked up a 12 yo Knob Creek 100 proof for $60, see how that tastes.

got bJust glad you were not hurt, they say more people are hurt or killed when they try to miss the deer and end up off the road.

And like you said glad it did not end up in the car, I have never been in a car when the airbags go off either, probably feels like you were hit with a deer ?

If you only had this book

I was blessed to see BB King live twice. Once was at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville with Linda and my special friends Becky and Marion.

The second time was with Linda at the Tennessee Theatre on January 8, 2010 and until recently I had forgotten I had this numbered print 198/1000 from the event.

For Christmas my sweet Linda had it professionally framed for my music room. Sure brings back a wonderful memory of spending an evening with BB King and Linda..!

Would love to see and hear of others memorabilia of concerts you attended...🙂

The price is fine.  The location is the problem.  With something this big it can't be shipped so your potential buyer for this has to be within your driving area.  I'm in TX.  If you were in Dallas I'd buy this for $300.

I shipped 4 cabs of KP-600s on 2 pallets to Georgia. Somewhere around 375 pounds on one of the pallets. Shipping is the easy part, cost of shipping not so much but it can be done. If you want it West Coast will ship it.

If the subs in the picture are included, then $1600 might not be bad.  But overall too much.  I sold a pair of walnut LaScalas about 3 years ago that were in very nice shape and the best I could get for them was $1200.  Quite a shame if you ask me considering they are over $8000 new.

Please read the description, the subs are not included in the now $1500

    Dave,

Is that for the splits or LSIs in general? Don't splits generally run higher on average?
