I thought it was pretty easy because the cloth has just the right amount of flex. I started on one side and applied approximately 8" of glue, folded the cloth over and put some pressure on it with a board so it could not burn my finger tips. I did this over and over til I was done with one side. Than I did the opposite side and at the end the corners. They turned out perfect.

Congrats on the KLF's I used a glue gun for the grill of my KLF 30 rebuilds and got the extra black (more expensive) cloth from Parts Express. http://www.parts-express.com/home-audio-video.cfm

(where to get that and does it help on a KLF30?) I also got a test CD this week for fine tuning the ports. I am concerned about losing internal volume if they get to long.

Did you get more results on the length of the ports yet. I still did not glue my ports yet so I can still change them. I also have to paint and assemble the second KLF 30 before I can start testing. I will need to order more pipe and a test CD too. With my left over pipe I can get the length up to 8 inches, maybe that would do? Any suggestions on a test CD (for beginners)?

His volume control was probably just dirty and needs to be cleaned, nothing to worry about.

They are 49"x16"x16" now to make up for the braces. The front baffels are 1.5" thick. Almost 3 sheets of 3/4" MDF, 3 quarts of Titebond III, 40 magnets for the grilles and 300 screws. Now I am waiting for the port extension update so I can order more pipe.
