  1. I know nothing about this combo, but it looks awesome. It's got that McIntosh look. Looks like he's open to offers. I couldn't find much info online, and I have no room for new gear at the moment. I bet it'd be sweet paired with some vintage Klipsch. http://m.ebay.com/itm/151332703826?nav=SEARCH
  2. Wow... That was quite a story. I can't comprehend why it was in the description, but yeah poor Lucy

Are you coming up north at all? I could use a nice set of HT speakers I have no plans to go up North any time soon. Boston is only 4hrs from me. We could possibly meet in the middle? You can PM me with whatever you're interested in.

I'd like to throw out there I'll be pulling a closed trailer to Maryland Tuesday. I could easily bring any of the speakers with me if that would help anyone out. I'm also open to offers, especially on multiple speakers. Please PM any offers Thanks, Chad

Thank you so much. I've never been able to get pictures on here. Thank you That is what I was thinking, but if you'd like to pay $800 for the worst of the 3 I'll accept that I believe the best pair is in the closet. The best pair was up front when I switched to the RF-7II. So that pair got stored

You used to be the conservative one. I remember when you only had speakers in your theater... i see them spreading throughout the house... You got it bad Thank you for the kind words. This will be my second. My daughter will be 11 in June. I thought I was almost out of the woods!! I tried convincing her she needed surround sound in her room... Girls...go figure Thank you

Thanks Carl. I hate to see them go. It took me years and many road trips to aquire all those. I'd like to see them go to a forum member who will appreciate them. Thank you. Don't feel too bad for me... I'm still keeping a lot of stuff

It is a very joyful, yet sad day for me. We're having a baby, and I'm losing my audio room. I've collected quite a bit of equipment over the years. As much as I have tried to convince the wife that the baby will need his own surround setup, it just doesn't fit into her nursery plans. Consider this a preview sale. I know I'm going to get in trouble for not being able to post pictures. I've followed the instructions in the past... and failed miserably. Some of the stuff is wrapped and stored in closets. I won't be able to get everything out and photographed until the weekend. Most of it is out in the open now. Any interest please message me and I will be happy to email or text you pictures directly. I just wanted to make sure my friends here got first dibs before I post anywhere else. Here's what I'm thinking... RF-7II pair $1500 black. These are in excellent condition RF-83 pair $1000 black. These have sat in my spare room and probably aren't even fully broken in. Excellent condition. RF-7 $600-$800 I have 3 pairs of these available. All are in black. I was not the original owner of these and they have some flaws. All funtion perfectly. I ordered new grills before, so all of the grills are like new. 2 pair the cabinets are in very good condition. There are some minor dings in a couple drivers. The other pair is a little rougher. There is a crease in one driver and some scratches on the cabinets. Even the bad pair looks very good with the grills on. All items are in Staten Island, NY. Shipping isn't an option on these big guys. This is a great chance for someone to put together an amazing all RF-7 setup. Towers all around are the only way to go for me. I have some amps, preamps, other speakers, etc that will unfortunately be finding a new home as well I'm hoping I can hide a lot of the smaller things. Maybe get a storage unit? It's not a sickness, it's a collection right?

    Palladium P-39's

Beautiful pair on Agon. Asking 13k in Iowa http://app.audiogon.com/listings/full-range-klipsch-palladium-p-39f-loudspeaker-2014-05-09-speakers-50310-des-moines-ia
  10. Great price on a great processor for anyone in the market. No affiliation http://app.audiogon.com/listings/solid-state-marantz-av7005-2014-05-07-preamplifiers-48324
  11. I never had an "in ear" pair of headphones before I guess. I put the bigger pair of inserts on and really stuffed them in there and now they sound much much better. They do sound good now. It's very uncomfortable for me to wear though. It creates pressure in the ear. Also the cord works like a stethoscope, if I tap it or anything touches it, it's magnified through the earbuds. I got these to wear to the gym, which seems like would be a problem. Maybe that's how all this type of "in ear" earbud is. Thanks for the advice. I'd like to know what the rest of you think when you get them.
  12. I'll try the other tips. I had them in as far as they'd go and they felt pretty snug. I was also getting some feedback through the cord when I moved around. That's why I assumed maybe I got a bad or counterfeit pair. I'll let you know
  13. Thank guys! Mine came from woot as well. Something is definitely not right. I know Klipsch wouldn't put out something like that, maybe I just got a bad one . Please let me know what you all think when you get yours. Thanks for the quick reply Amy.
  14. Any one get these yet? Mine just came in the mail today. I'm wondering if possibly I got the counterfeit I've heard all about? They look ok, but sound awful. There is absolutely no bass at all. So tinny, it's like listening to just the tweeters on a pair of horns. Is there a way to check with a serial number or something if they're real?
  15. I just grabbed a pair too. Thanks
  16. Those grilles are pretty brittle. Although putting something in more solid sounds good, I'd be afraid of it splitting when you try to drill it. If they don't sit just right they'll rattle at high volumes too. The right glue should should make them good as new. I know there's some great plastic ones out there. I was curious if there was a specific brand someone has used for that and recommends.
  17. I hope you find your grilles. What's the best kind of glue to use to reglue the broken pegs? I tried crazy glue on a few and they broke the first time I tried to put them back on.
  18. If you're going to separate. I may be interested in the Sennheiser's. You can PM me how much you'd want for them
  19. It did say they were young... I'm guessing the bottom may be his nightstand?
  20. Extremely rare... Made by "a few young engineers, physicists, and a master cabinet maker" lol http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/ele/4383051984.html

    Upgraded Chorus II's

I think it's the flash that makes them look a little obnoxious. The burl finish usually looks great. I think the outriggers give it a really cool look. Plus all the Crites upgrades.. I've seen beat up ones sell for more. I like them because they don't look like all the other Klipsch stuff I have. Seems like a great price for all that work too.
  22. Local pick up only or I'd have to add these to the collection. http://app.audiogon.com/listings/full-range-klipsch-chorus-2-speakers-upgraded-2014-03-07-speakers-94501

I thought you were a mustang guy
  24. I'm on the east coast, so I can't help you there. However, there's a C7 that just popped up on audiogon. Seller says he'll split shipping. http://app.audiogon.com/listings/full-range-klipsch-c7-the-best-center-channel-klipsch-made-2013-05-05-speakers-23435
