  1. Just my 2 cents. I'm not seeing the value in this. And maybe that's because I've never been burned before. I have bought and sold several items on this forum. I probably do more shopping here than Walmart. All of my experiences have been good if not great. It's a glorified Klipsch Craigslist, and like someone said earlier, Klipsch doesn't need to be eBay. It's a place where great deals can be had, you can generally move things fairly quickly, and you do it at your own risk.
  2. I sit 12' from a 108" screen. Not sure I would want to go any larger. I'm right at the upper limit of the THX recommended which is closer than most recommendations. It also depends on what you use your viewing area for. Blu-rays look fantastic, however 1080i and 720p cable broadcast don't look as sharp on a 108" screen as they do on a 50" plasma when you are sitting so close. So keep in mind the quality of the signal you are going to be sending to the projector and keeping that in mind with your viewing distance. Here's a viewing distance calculator that I use. Cheers http://myhometheater.homestead.com/viewingdistancecalculator.html
  3. He did not send pics. And yes I assume its the nsd. Which for $100 is an absolute steal. Oh well... who's in Maine?
  4. Unfortunately he cannot ship.
  5. I'm working on it, sent him a message! Hope he can ship. His posting is priceless... whoooppeeee
  6. Still Looking! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys
  7. Just saw this come across my feed this morning and thought I would share with some folks here. http://www.ibj.com/klipsch-bolsters-marketing-with-rollout-of-gig-mini-speaker/PARAMS/article/44495
  8. Desperately! I've been as patient as can be and have searched the internet relentlessly for 2 months now. I acquired 3 pairs of XL-12s via ebay from a guy who was blowing them out for $110 pair and am currently using an XL-12 as center but would really like to get a XL-23. Any help would be very appreciated thanks.
  9. This was the first blu-ray player I purchased and paid around $600 for it gently used (at the time they were going for $1000 new). I was stoked for how good of a deal I had found. Yes I was an early investor in HDDVDs and already owned over 50 titles when they announced Blu-rays would become the sole source of high definition hardware. So this combo player was my answer to not ditching my HDDVDs and starting over with Blu-rays. At the time this unit was the flagship of Sammy's line, offering 30 sec load times, which by today's standards are slow, but at the time some players had 2 minute load times. This unit is up to date on its firmware, still operates as well as it did from day one, and is in exceptional shape. I would like $100 + shipping for it. PM any questions you may have.
  10. Well I remember seeing or reading somewhere that when they were developing the galleries they were going to offer them in white as well as black. I'm guessing this is a set they actually had made but they obviously decided not to produce them. And somehow this gent got his hands on em...since he is in indy maybe he knows someone? $700 is pretty cheap for a set of galleries let alone prototype white ones.
  11. Thought this was a rare find. Good price too! No affiliation. http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/ele/4074904434.html
  12. I'm in Bloomington. Go Hoosiers! I like the look and sound of these but just don't have a place for them currently and am looking to fund some other things.
  13. Thanks for the link. Really would just like an XL-23
  14. Primarily interested in a single XL-23 or a set of 3, but would also be interested in other speakers from the Icon X line (XF-48, XL-12, XB-10). Let me know what you've got and what you want for it!
