  1. Asian fusion. Japanese Chinese Thai and Malaysian. We have been the best Asian restaurant 3 years in a row. The wife owns it and I salve for her after I leave the office a few nights a week!
  2. Well come up Michael an have a nice dinner at our restaurant on me. Then take the wife for an evening stroll on the battery an the next day we will all be in audio nirvana and pummel our senses with blissful speakers.
  3. Thanks buddy. I have a way to transport them I have a jeep with my seats down with his crazy weather I dont want to chance rain lol.
  4. And then the 3 of us hang out for an afternoon an go pick up Billy's lascalas.
  5. I upgraded when I got the 132" Stewart film screen. I should have waited till a 4k came out maybe next year it wasn't a big upgrade.
  6. http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/show/Joshua_Zyber/HD_Advisor/HD_Advisor_Tutorial__2351_Constant_Height_Projection/2798 I have the rs48 bro I swapped about 6 months ago. Not much differed with eshift
  7. For movies I still prefer my THX sound. For music these were stunning. I'm buying Billy's soon. If I were to change my system it would be triad platinums.
  8. Very impressed but also my taste in music has le me to believe these are better suited for me. I like classical jazz blues instrumental and soundtracks. I also like classic roc
  9. I just got back from Florida installing my 4 THX ultra-subs into a friend’s house. He used to have 4 Belles across his front sound stage (not sure why he had 4 but that’s another story for another day) He had 3 of them stolen and one just dropped and damaged apparently the thieves couldn’t fit the last one so they just left it at his house after dropping it on the floor and damaging the wood. Annnny way. He was able to get a nice chunk of insurance money from his stolen property and purchased this…. I hope you are able to do the very same thing and build a new nice system to enjoy at the loss of some very nice speakers you had. My condolences… I attached photos of the belles and the after purchased gear with the insurance money. Hopefully this will yield a good result for your family.
  10. Id rather they go to a nice home to a forum member.
  11. I listed them in the forum and eBay only. Atlanta is about 3.5 hour drive from downtown chalreston.
  12. Well the new JTR subwoofers should be here the end of next week and im looking to the next piece in the theater. I have toyed with the idea for a long while and always knew I would eventually install one, and I believe next week I’m going to pull the trigger on a Panamorph UH480 anamorphic lens. I have seen some of these used and factory cleaned (the lens etc) for 1999 and the motorized sled will be purchased separately. Anyone on here have experience and or suggestions with anamorphic lenses? I don’t see many people talk about them and I know a lot of us use projectors on here. I know I have seen the effects of them and thus I wanted to eventually get one. They don’t really have to be upgraded and I know the UH480 has been very very well reviewed for years and should fit any other JVC projectors they come out with including new 4k versions in the future for many years. I like being able to utilize the extra 20% of the dead pixel space (black bars on the top and bottom) and I like that I can appropriately adjust the aspect ratios of 16:9 content to fill my screen for those few films I have in that ratio. I also like not having to zoom in and out for different films. I know it isn’t that hard or anything but the JVC is slower and zooming than the Panny I witnessed at youths house that thing was lighting fast and changing ratios. Thoughts fellas?
  13. I can understand this I plan to have the theater and the next house mostly done when having the house built so I can just go in put my speakers in place and hit the on button. My theater had a ton of it done by me and although it came out nearly perfect (im meticulous with paint and details and wiring) It took me nearly 6 months of working every sat and a few nights in the evening after work to get it finished. I’d like to have a builder do the work next time for me or in your case a contractor etc. That being said when it comes time to handling the projector/speaker/amps etc I don’t like people touching them and I’ll be putting those in myself
  14. Dual jtr s2s are shipping Friday according to Jeff.
  15. 884 was designed to be applied with the cinema speakers. I think you will be pleased.
  16. Yes I plan to meet you and Steven. In the near future.
  17. After visiting michaels theater and talking in detail about your setup I want to see your theater lol
  18. Wstrickland has a pair of 1983s I believe I'm trying to take off his hands.
  19. Ok guys I really don’t want to drop this price anymore because they are worth more in my opinion but I really have an itch I need to scratch and I want to pick up another forum members Lascalas but I can’t unless the RF7iis go (wife’s rule) for my 2 channel garage setup. I will drop these to $1650 but that is the lowest I’m going regardless of how appealing the Lascalas are for my music.
  20. I'd go with a nice Sonos soundbar. They even have blue tooth speakers that can be assigned to it wirelessly throughout house that's a nix riot ion or good sound. If you go with bookshelves I'd go with a nice pair of rb75 in that lovely home.
