I can believe it. These amps sound incredible; Really. They compete with gear costing more than double the price of admission. I'm very satisfied with the sound of these. Only selling this system to focus my finances elsewhere for the time being. My loss is your gain. These are only three months old and I'm knocking $1000 off the price new. I've got lots of other gear that is going to get moved to the reference system. Downgrading is sometimes helpful financially, due to other priorities...at least from my perspective. That being said, this is not a "flash sale". If it doesn't move for my asking price, then I will happily keep the system and sell some other stuff. Just wanted to see if any members were interested.

EVERYTHING IS SOLD I have decided to offer up my Quicksilver Audio tube system for sale. Mono 120 amplifiers with the optional KT-150's...120 watts/channel Remote Line Stage using a pair of 6922's. These Mono 120 amps are Mike Sanders' newest design, just released this past fall. The transformers on these amps are huge! 120 watts per channel of tube power with the Tung-Sol KT-150 tubes. The Remote line stage is also very nice. This system together will provide a transparent sound that is hard to find with lots of tube gear. It reveals a whole different dimension to most recordings. Wonderfully natural and detailed sound signature, while having 120 watts of power. Although I am loving the sound of the system, we are in the middle of remodeling our kitchen, re-landscaping the whole yard and other home projects. My bank account is bleeding. If I were to sell these, it would make things a little easier with our projects. The wife keeps adding to the list and I'm about spent out :-( These monoblock amps and matching line stage are only three months old. I am the original owner. No flaws; like brand new. Original boxes/packing/manuals/etc. will be included of course. The system has 350 hours of use and just now broken in good. I have been keeping track of the hours precisely and listening to the sound changes as everything has slowly been burned in properly. This gear was not a demo; built to order just for me. I would like to get $5000, and I will cover the shipping. Contact me for more pics if you are interested.

Paul, do you feel McIntosh is not on the same level of quality as the VRD's/NBS? I've heard and owned some very nice Mac equipment over the years (both tube and SS...modern and vintage) and frankly, I miss that sound signature quite a bit now that it's gone. Never heard Craig's designs but always wanted to.

SOLD Beautiful McIntosh MA4100 that is excellent condition. It is near mint, really. All original and never modified in any way. It's about as clean as you will find. All functions works wonderfully. The phono section sounds great and has a nice option for two turntables if you wish. It has two headphone jacks. No disappointments here folks. Absolutely beautiful example of McIntosh history. My price is $1250 shipped to your door, which reflects the excellent condition. If you want a pristine MA4100, this is it. SOLD
