  1. WOW! not even sure what I did there, sorry!
  2. Every Denon piece I have owned(POA-1500, PRA-1500, DCD-3520, DCD-1500,PMA-1080R, PMA-770,etc.) have been about as close to neutral as as you can get. I can't say for certain about the modern AVRs but my understanding is they are slightly on the warmer side of neutral, but that is just hear say. Bill that being said Bill if it is a tad to the warmer side, will that coupled with the warmness of the amp Hurt my sound? if not I'll go with the Devon if so I'll go to Onkyo. I have no experience with Denon AVRs except what I have briefly listened to in Best Buys or SoundAdvice. With that said, I really do think either the Denon or Onkyo would be good choices. Bill . Thanx!

  4. I think the X 4000 fits the bill on both of those just need to know about Warm on warm
  5. I guess my real question is, is Denon considered warm also and then I will be pairing a warm amp with a warm AVR will that create issues? both of those Denon receiver's are an option but he is giving me $900 credit for my amp which is crazy since I've had it for two years. I would prefer to stay as low as I can go and still have Adyssey x 32 and pre outs. thanks for your input
  6. My buddy owns a car stereo store and is a distributer for some AVR brands and is giving me a credit to turn in my Yamaha he sold me a couple years ago, so need to stay with his brands Denon, Yamaha, Onkyo. with my yamaha cant eq sub or set crossover for individual speakers. YPAO dosent seem as good as Audyssey by far.
  7. I should have added if the consensus is I would be happier with the Onkyo I won't balk on getting it just because Denon is better price.
  8. Hello all, I will soon be receiving my new B and K 200.7 (thanks Youth!) I also have my Klipsch RF 7ii 7 channel speaker system on its way. i've read numerous times how the B& K will warm up the tone on the RF sevens, but what AVR do I add to it? Willand suggested a more neutral AVR like Onkyo or NAD. My first instinct was to take his advice and run with the Onkyo. The only reason I am not,( no offense willand:) ) is that I can get a better deal on a Denon. anyone have any suggestions between the Onkyo or Denon will I be happier with the Onkyo because it is more neutral not having any experience with any of these brands Im at everyone's mercy. thanks for any and all replies and a special nod to you willland.
  9. Recently stumbled upon this sub, actually this evening. I had seen the Triax but thats all I had heard of PSA. Any impressions of this sub? I read that the creaters and owners are former SVS employees. or co founders as in the V in SV Sound. Anyone have any advice on which way to go. Ive read for quite A while on many different sites of SVS quality and cs. Don't want to pursue this any further till i get some feedback from our fellow forum members. Thanks!
  10. Yea, I was thrilled with it originally. Then I started doing my homework on this sight and seen how much it COULDNT do . Hindsight is 20/20 .
  11. Thanks Michael for everything, you're a standup guy and I'm looking very forward to my new set up.
  12. i seen a couple seaton submerssive hp on audiogon in CA but shipping wud kill me. i do plan on having 2 svs just have to wait 6 mos for other
  13. I just responded to his last email asking if it was cherry or black and if it is RC 64 or 64 ii not trying to be picky but WAF and I both decided on Cherry by the way scrappy I seen a guy on audiogon with two Seaton submersive HPs . I think with the price and the shipping it would kill me for one of them.
  14. Touchdown/Fiel goal- I am in my Super Bowl mode but, CECAA850 is right. Sell the old subs. Might move to garage:)
  15. I appreciate everyones comments, Im going with the Sevens. Cant wait!!

  18. One last bump before I call our buddies at Acoustic sound design.
  19. The not being "Made in USA" factor doesn't bother me personally. I own a Honda oddessey and Honda element so im not really stuck on the made in america thing . Even though as stated earlier more than likely all or alot of the vehicles are probably made here. I just was surprised to hear it because Ive always associated the Furniture grade Klipsch speakers with being made in Hope. I put alot of faith in the knowledge of people on this forum whom have had FAR MORE EXPERIENCE with HT and Klipsch than I. If they are happy with their sevens I know my dumb butt will be happy as a lark. My concern( probably unwarranted) was that the electronics inside would be made cheaply overseas and POSSIBLY more prone to failure. Im about to spend what to me is ALOT of money on possibly my LAST SET of speakers and ones that ive pictured in my home for a few years now. I guess my point in even raising the question was to get confirmation that there is nothing to worry about. Which quite honestly by the reviews ive read here I shudnt have worried in the first place. My buddy I spoke of originally has all Altec Lansing VOTT in his room. He has access to these speakers quite frequently and was trying to steer me toward them. Although they DO soumd awesome. They also take up ALOT of room. Not trying to go all Dr. Phil here but this thread i guess was me getting cold feet on a BIG purchase. It was in no way intended to Slam Klipsch, other RF-7 owners or anyone who dosent Buy american. Thanks all
  20. Hello all, I spoke with my friend today whom owns a stereo store (car stereo) but VERY knowledgeable in HT. He told me that Klipsch RF-7 ii CABINETS ONLY are made in Hope, AR. Can anyone tell me with certainty if the electronics AND cabinets are made in Hope? Dont know that this would change my decision on these beautiful speakers but just curious at this point if electronics are made in China. Thanx for any and all replies.
  21. I was looking for a submersive hp or a JTR cap but I figured the chances of one of those coming up were slim to none. Seems like ill have better chance finding used SVS. I wish I had the patience to wait for something to come around and IM SURE SOON AS I BUY NEW garage sale will be flooded with deals. I missed out on a good deal this past novenber from a forum member and have been kicking myself ever since. Oh well, cant live in the past. Either way used or new im going to be a VERY happy camper in a few weeks.
  22. Thanks Youth, you know where I will be coming for the amp if it's not gone. I did forget to add RC 62 ii 's as well. I think my brain is already in La la land today. have visions of RF7 's dancing in my head
