No problem... If I had a buyer for 3. I would sell all 3 of my woofers, and replace all 3. I figured it would be harder to sell one then to sell 2.

I wonder if they are filled with nuts too?

I woke up this morning and had requests for pics, so i just took the pics with my cell phone... I didn't even get a chance to dust them off. I will post multi meter readings later today.

My bottleneck is lack of cash.

As far as speakers and electronics, I can't think of anything that I feel that is a bottleneck. I'm very impressed with the sound and picture quality.
The only thing I might consider as a bottleneck in my system is my false wall. I love how it looks and it provides a "finished" look to the front wall but there are some drawbacks. It effects the sound of the main speakers due to the acoustics of them being somewhat "enclosed" instead of being out in the open. For the past several months, I have had them out in the open in front of the "doors" on the false wall and prefer the sound. The false wall also limits me to a max of 103" screen and unless I move to an AT screen, the center channel is up very high angled downwards towards my listening area. My guess is it would sound even better if the center channel was behind the screen.
Sometime in the future, with the help of WakeJunkie, we will build a new front wall so that the mains can be featured out in front and not enclosed but also accommodate a larger screen that is AT so that I can place the RC-64ii behind it.
Good info... I have been debating doing a baffle wall or leaving it open behind the screen to allow the back waves to return into the HT room.

The key to the least expensive is to take the product to them and have the buyer pick up from them. My DTS10 subs (575 lbs for both) were delivered from Flagstone Arizona to Concord California for $250... To have them deliver to my house with a liftgate was another $280. You can see how much you can save.

What shipping company did you use?

I have been running a pair of Faitals on some K402s for a couple of weeks now and have been using ALK ESNs at 500 Hz and a DBX 1231 EQ. I have been extremely impressed by these drivers on K402 horns. At the opposite end of the room is my full MCM-3 Grand system that employs TAD 4002s on its K402 horns. The Faitals are not quite as clear sounding as the TADs........but they are close, and completely hold their own on high end extension. I have been running them atop a set of DBBs and this 2-way system definitely can hang with the MCM in some regards. I like Faitals a lot.
I will be turning this into an actively crossed and EQ'd system shortly to try that method.
Another point I shouild mention is that I am not using the same electronics on both systems when making these comparisons. I have by far the better electronics on the MCM setup. Therefore, the Faitals may be even better than I am suggesting here.
Bascially, I have been using the TADs and the MCM setup to help me learn and EQ the Faitals on this other pair of K402s that I have. Like I said, I have been very impressed by the Faitals to this point.
I am going to try out this combo... EV DHA-1 going to the JBL 2360A with the crossover being handled via MiniDSP.

Not my speakers....a post from craigslist boston

When you post them up.... If you post the link you won't get people thinking you are the one selling them.

I know what you mean... I just got approved for my retirement in December 2013... After 2 1/2 years of fighting.

You might want to see if he will ship them to you. I just got my 2 Danley DTS 10 subs shipped from Flagstaff Arizona to Oakland for $250! The catch was the shipper had to take them to the freight forwarder and I had to pick them up and the Freight Forwarder, but they palletized and shrink wrapped them. Not to mention my 2 subs weighed almost 600 lbs!

Now those look awesome and well worth the price IMO.

Those are in about the same condition as the ones I bought a few months back.

I need to make some wedges for my La Scalas too. Has anyone made some that has a paper template I could use?
I think I have some around .
It would be appreciated if you can send me a template that I can print out.

Perhaps I missed it ....what amp/processor or AVR are you using?
I am using the Denon 4520ci

So with my HIPs I should angle them down too... Is that how low you have them mounted or is that just for the picture?
-
Rears and surrounds are supposed to be ambient. They should not be aimed at the audience, as it is best that the sounds come from everywhere rather from a specific axis. I spoke to an engineer at Danley who said that he knows of people who use the 10's as rear decks, and face the mouth toward the front of the theater. IMO, you should call Danley and get some input.
This is what I do on my rear wall with KPT-200's on top about 4 ft apart center to center.
Are your surrounds just shooting straight out into the room or do they angle downward?
-
Up against te wall gives you your boundary gain. And as far as speakers behind screen and toeing, mine are behind a false wall and are toed in. When they faced straight I had zero imaging. Sounded like a big mess up front.
Would I be better off building a baffle wall rather than having an open wall with the cavity behind?
Need new AVR suggestions!

You can get the X4000 for about $900 right now... You might be able to get a lower model X series Denon for your budget.
