  1. The price is nice, 3 hour radius would cut me down to about 5 hours. Very tempting lol. I can't tell from the picture, are they cherry or black?
  2. still awaiting reply on that thx ultra 2 system you mentioned in a different thread. glws,
  3. If you signed up to be notified when it was available, you are able to place an order through a link sent to your email. Order placed!
  4. Do they have Dogfish 120min !?! If so, I'll head there tomorrow as I've been searching for this elusive brew for over a year now. Everywhere has the 60min and 90min including my place of employment but no one ever has the 120min in stock and I really wanna try it. Thanks for the heads up though ill have to check them out. I've got a few really great places by me with approx 1000 different beers between them (Holiday Market in royal oak and 8 degrees Plato in ferndale). So my selection is pretty amazing but I'm always looking for a new place My company isn't a distributor of dogfish so I'm not 100% sure. I deliver to him on Friday mornings, so I can ask him then. If he doesnt have it, he usually gets right on the phone with the distributor and can usually get it within a weeks time. I'll let you know when I find out. The trouble in finding it has been that its brewed tri-annually in small batches. So it comes around in such small spurts that if you're not right on top of it, it's gone, in days typically. I'm a manager with Trader Joes and am pretty well versed in the Michigan distributor rules around these parts. Which sucks a lot I might add when it comes to availability and such. Which one do you work for? We utilize five at my work but we can't just activate skus at our discretion, unfortunately. It's all in the hands of the distributor for us. I work for Powers Distributing in Lake Orion. We do Oakland and Macomb Counties. It is a pretty rule heavy business but there are always loop holes.

  6. Trev, if you're a beer guy like me, do yourself a favor and take a trip to Pine Ridge Market in Highland, MI. Totally worth the trip. Any beer you can think of, they have, if not, they can get it. Mark (the owner) is an awesome guy and loves to talk beer. He has a large selection of Michigan beers too if you like to try what's made in your home town. Easily one of the best selections in the state.
  7. Just went on over to monoprice and it looks like they have them in black now!
  8. When I rolled it into place it was very resonant and loud, once I started putting a bit of gear in it the sound started to die off. The side panels on it might be a problem with the lower frequencies. I can see them rattling, but won't know for sure until I get everything in and set up with a movie going. If it does a little bit of foam stripping will fix it.
  9. The cooling system is pretty loud, So if you're putting it out in the open I suggest replacing the fans with some that are a little quieter. If it's hidden away, they should be fine, they push a BUNCH of air.
  10. That's odd as black is probably the most logical color. Yea and they show it plain as day at the beginning of the description video. I like the lower profile of the "ultra thin cable" connector but hate the white. A little tech flex and heat shrink fixed it though.
  11. I upgraded to all Redmere cables (regardless of length) and they are nice cables, have a 60ft one and has no problem with signal. Looks as good if not better then my old thick cable. Bends nicer too. I wish they would have made the ultra thin ones in black like they have at the beginning of the video, they just have then in white for now
  12. The cooling system is pretty darn loud, but this will be tucked away in an audio closet where I won't hear a thing I figured if I bought the shelves alone it would cost me half the price I paid for the whole unit (for decent shelves).
  13. Yes it is a lock, both front and back panels open up and have locks. If you're looking at getting one, now would be the time, before it jumps back up to $750 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&_dynSessConf=&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=15&sp=&qp=&list=n&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960&st=re42
  14. Now to re-wire everything into it....going to take a while >_< lol
  15. Omnimount RE42 rack. Got it because of the built in cooling system and all the shelves it came with. Oh and of course the $643 price tag shipped to my door! Pics taken with my cheap phone.
  16. That will not hurt it at all. It's better to overpower then underpower a speaker. Clipping an amp will do much more harm then clipping a speaker. I will be running my RF-7ii's off of 2 Emotiva XPA-1's at 500 watts a piece. From what most people say it's a good rule of thump to double the RMS rating and around that number is giving you enough headroom.
  17. Yea, I think he was trying to get cash outta me. The 2900 was with a rc-64ii though. Edit: those are scratch and dent ones. I'll wait for prestine ones lol.
  18. Probably. Sent him a message, and got one back the same day saying they sold out earlier in the day >_< I flipped lol. Thought I lost my chance, but then Mike saved the day with the news of another batch. Did you get the same deal? $2500 for the 2 rf-7ii and the rf-64ii?
  19. Yes they did! Sucks I'll have to wait but the finish AND price are worth it lol.
  20. Yea I noticed that. Peoples A stocks are really darker compared to klipschs pictures, but the darker the better. darkest I can get without getting them in black lol. I plan on building my stage upfront to display these instead of hideing then and staining it, along with all the wood work and molding a similar shade. classy
  21. Yea that's what I'll end up doing. I talked with one of my local shops and they pretty much said they make the RF-7ii's in runs. They do a bunch to build up stock then don't make them for a while. He said they select the cherry for them and put the darker shades off to the side that they wouldn't normally use. Once they are done making all the A stock, they use all the wood they have for B stock. It's just luck of the draw I guess, I'd assume they have SOME b stock every time but it's anyone's guess to how many, and when they actually start pumping out a new batch. He also said Klipsch is starting production on a new batch in a few weeks, so that plays into the 4-5 week time frame I was given. Here come the sleepless nights! I've researched and trialed speakers for the past 4 months before making my decision. To me, at least, the RF-7ii's sounded better then some $10,000 speakers they had me trying out. And my ear is what matters! Well the fiance's too, but mostly mine. bwahah
  22. New RF-7ii and RC-64ii owner. Well sorta. Here is my dilemma. I want the B stock cherry, love the color but ASD is out of them, sounddistributors has them but says they can't match ASD's price of 2500, but can do 2900. He confirmed they are the same finish. But here is the kicker, mark at ASD said he will have another batch of dark cherry in about 4 to 5 weeks. My understanding was that this was a mistake on the veneer suppliers part. So how would he be able to get more? Or is it after they are built some are just darker and rejected?
