  1. 300 Rise Of An Empire: A very good rental if you liked the first one. Good PQ, SQ, LFE. and special effects This is a 4/5 movie for me. :)

Actually that is the first movie I watched tonight with the 7's in house. Not bad but I liked the first one better I think.

  2. Ryan told me before I left that he was a Packers fan thinking I was too considering I'm from Wisconsin. Needless to say I said sorry I'm all Bears. He quickly tried taking the 7's out of my trunk and tried giving me the money back. I shut the trunk and sped off. It's a good thing I didn't tell him that before I put money down or I wouldn't have them. Damn cheeseheads! :D

  3. Today I took a road trip to Ryans (Reference_head) to pick up my RF7II's. First off Ryan has an amazing pro cinema and the 904's put a big grin on my face and left me kinda startled at first with their effortless sound. Clarity, detail, imaging, dynamics, yep those 904's just simply rock. His three big SVS subs were also bone crushing. Truly an amazing experience to listen to such a beast of a home theater. 3D on his screen was also a new experience and was also awesome. I can say 3D on a screen like that is just intense. After that I have a different view on 3D. I felt like a kid in a candy store and that's no bull$#!T.

After some demos Ryan showed me the 7II's before we boxed them up. I knew how big they were. I took measurements ofc beforehand but after first seeing them the first thing I thought was my wife is gonna shoot me when I get them in the house. They looked HUGE! Hee hee! Well here they are and guess what. My wife helped me unbox them and move a few things around to accommodate the big boys. First impression was holy shet. Again effortless and so clean and detailed. They don't drown out my SB13 Ultra either. If anything they enhance the overall bass bigtime. I am truly amazed with the 7II's. I think I can stop looking for speakers now. I've reached the finish line. Again thank you Ryan. I think you helped me check another item off my bucket list. :)

  4. I had the RC62II before stepping up to the 64 and thought kinda the same thing. It wasn't 500.00 better IMO. They sound very similar until you get around -10 then the 64 sounds much bigger and walks away from the 62 and by all means should. Although dialogue is much cleaner with the 64 with the bigger driver. I still really like the 64 with my RF62II's but other people have told me they are not timber matched which 99% of the people would not even notice.

  5. Well space was a big issue when I decided on the SB13. Sure if there was more room then the PB13 would have been my first choice. I feel the SB13 does well for music as I have no regrets but I need duals to get the most out of movies I'm thinking. Oh I'm excited to hear those 904's and three big ported PB's from SVS. Heck the only heritage I've heard are Forte II's so the Corns and Heresys also interest me. Damn it's gonna be like going into a Klipsch and SVS showroom. Ryan has the best of both worlds! :D

  6. well, you can hook up 11.2 to your 3312 & try Heights, Wides & Surround Back one pair at a Time if you wish...

Yep but I'm just not sure it would benefit me in my small room. It's another curiosity thing. There's always a WHAT IF around every corner unfortunately. Either way I'm four days away from having the RF7II's in house. I'm pretty pumped about that ofc. :D

  7. I can see Atmos being a benefit if you had a fairly large dedicated theater room other than that I think having 9 or more speakers would be a waste. My 5.1 rig in my 2000 cu ft room already sounds like there's speakers everywhere. I thought about 7.1 with some RB61II's as front heights but don't feel I would benefit from it then again I maybe wrong.

  8. Two 15in or equivalent subs are needed to have more or keep up with the 4 woofers in the RF 7 or 7II's . Anything less, just go with running the speakers large.

I hope that's not the case because I'm picking up the 7II's next Sunday from Reference_head. I really don't want the four 10's to drown out the detailed bass in my SB Ultra. I would be heartbroken lol.
  9. If your looking for a small footprint that packs one heck of a punch then look no farther than the SB13 Ultra. It seems like a huge sub when it wants to get up and party. I still can't believe it does that good of a job for how small it is and duals would be perfect in my 2000 cu ft room.

  10. Thx Tasdom. I just read through much of those comments. Looks like currently only >$1000 receivers have the SubEQ feature so it might be a few years before I consider upgrading to one that has those options.

Ever thought about buying a Denon? The X4000 is under a grand with XT32. It's gotten some great reviews as well. I've owned Yamaha and Pioneer in the past and still like Denon a bit better especially matched with Klipsch.

  11. I have been using a Denon 3312 with 125 w/ch. Bench tests say 123 with 2 channels and around 80 with 5 channels running and 77 with 7 channels. It has done great with my current setup and I have no complaints. I will be picking up Ref's RF7II's here in a month so I too will need an external amp to get the most out of them. I'm sure the 3312 will be just fine until I pick up a nice used 3 or 5 channel amp.

  12. oh snap! from rf-62ii ht to rf-7ii home theater in less than a year….go ahead and give it a few months then put in your order for cinema stuff. your gonna want it after hearing the 904's i promise.

Maybe I should tell Ryan just to leave the 7's on the curb lol.

  13. Sorry Ref. This situation your in has left a sour taste in my mouth. I have a feeling someone in corporate will be told about this and they will make it right. If they don't there is something seriously wrong. This is the Klipsch Forums and I'm sure there is employees at Klipsch headquarters that do pay attention to what's being said in here. They make wonderful speakers but if it wasn't for us they wouldn't be what they are today.
