  1. I can't. My son is napping and my wife's at work. I wish I could. Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  2. Yep. I'll be rearranging my HT. But I'll be able to get some shots of them before Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  3. Feel free. I'm borrowing it from someone too Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  4. I got the 20's. So I'll have 20s up front, 10s in the rear with an Academy center. I know I need the C7, but that's going to have to wait. Might use some PSB Alphas I've got laying around for L&R SB duty for now. Or, maybe I'll keep the Heresys in the setup for now. Thanks for all the help! Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  5. If you wanna do a comparison, I'm down. I'm taking a receiver and speaker cable with me. They just sold their house so I'm guessing they won't have anything to test them with. I'll be doing a full inspection before I buy. Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  6. I got them. Paid $250 for em, I still think that's a fantastic deal. He told me he was waiting for someone to get them this morning. I replied by offering him $100 more. Apparently the person couldn't get a vehicle big enough; so I got stuck with the offer. Honestly, I don't care. Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  7. I emailed him too, but haven't heard back. I'm in the twin cities. Did he give a contact number?
  8. He's already been emailed twice. I sent it an 1.5hrs after he posted. I am hoping to hear something back.......it's so frustrating.
  9. Thanks for all the replies. I'll look into the KGs for surrounds until I can get another pair of KLFs Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  10. I use to have a pair of KG4.5 that I loved. I would really like to use my Heresys for my 2 channel; will the KGs work ok as surrounds? KGs are readily available around Minneapolis/Saint Paul area. There's a pair of 4.5 available for $250 obo. There's also KG3s and KG2s for $150 and $125 respectfully. And thoughts and opinions are welcome Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  11. Still selling the C7s? Are you willing to sell just one? Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  12. I have two 20-39cs's in my 4300 cubic foot basement and they're not enough. I'm looking to build 4 sealed SI 18 subs myself. I would recommend moving the 20-39 off the velodyne. That's not helping the SVS. Really nice looking theatre! I'd consider building some SI subs, if you're looking to pressurize that size room you'll need a lot. I've listened to 8 SI 18s in a 3100 cubic foot room and they sound awesome. I listened to Scrappys last night and his 4 sounded better then the 8...but i think he has a lot of room gain (and I think Scrappy would agree). His room is also smaller, but sounds really, really good. Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  13. I wish I could put them in a corner, but I can't. Honestly, I plan on getting another pr of KLF for the front or rear. I'll use the Heresys for my 2 channel until I can find a pr of Cornwalls. Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  14. Subs tend to perform better on a floating floor than a concrete slab. Personally, I can't explain the physics behind the reason; however, I can attest that they just don't. I'll let Scrappy explain the difference he saw when he moved his down to the basement. Thanks for having me over last night Scrappy. Really enjoyed meeting you and your wife. Hope you had a good night! Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  15. I thought so. Well at least I have an idea of what I'm in for. Gotta tell ya, I'm stocked to listen to yours and his setups.
  16. Scrappy, does that room belong to who I think it belongs too? Sent from my iPhone, excuse the typos
  17. Woodbury. Should try and meet up sometime lol small world Very.
  18. Yeah; up until a few days ago it was in the negatives. Been a really cold winter here already.
  19. Woodbury. Should try and meet up sometime
  20. Yeah I know. I'll probably end up doing this. But the spade to banana are pretty cool and a quick fix for winter. It's cold here in MN
  21. SWEET!! Those will save me some pain for now. Thanks!!
  22. Cool. Just have to find some nice replacement posts. Parts Express or Monoprice? Yeah, I was planning to sand them down first. Still not sure if I want to stain them or not. I'll try the subs there when I get the second one, but right now it's in the best place for bass in my room.....so it's going to be fun playing with them to see where they sound best. Yeah....I wasn't planning on messing with the levels; well maybe the sub. I will try them tonight on the floor vs on stands, I don't know if they'll be harder to hear behind the couch. I plan on having stands built for them, but for now the ones they're on might have to work. I see you're in KCMO - my wife and I grew up in Leavenworth, KS. Don't know if your familiar with that area. Anyway, we are spending Christmas in KS; I was wondering if you might be willing to audition your Stereo Integrities? I think 2 20-39 won't pressurize my basement like I want, and I think I want to take a shot at a DIY solution. Don't know if I need or want 18's, but I would like to hear yours. I know it's the silly season. Just thought I'd ask. Thanks for all the help!
  23. I am thinking about staining them, they are unfinished oak. I think I could do that pretty easily. Did you remove the back first? That's what I would do, then re-wire. Be a good project for the spring; it's a little too chilly here now....although I suppose I could do that in the basement. Yeah, I've ran it 3 times now. I have another SVS 20-39cs headed my way, so I'll just wait till it gets here and re run everything...again.
  24. Yes I do. I can check them. I try and tune to what I hear also. But I don't want to mess up how Audyssey EQed the room. I am going to retry with the Heresys on the floor. The reason I was concerned about the levels is because when I had the ST4s as fronts they weren't up to +2 and the KLF10s are far more efficient speakers. So that's why it seems weird to me. Does anyone know how I can replace the speaker binding posts on the Heresys? They are the old screw type and would like to make them more traditional. I'm sure I don't have the right tools....but I'm curious. Thanks for the help
