Re Neil Young
I have read that his music is showing its age
However I think it’s lasted the test of time

Good evening Dave and GOOD lunch time to you Paul 🍷.... Well, just finished listening to an encore concert from the BSO performing the Mahler 2nd symphony. Today, was a LIVE concert from my paid subscription of the Berlin Philharmonic performing a Bruckner symphony! So, keeping with the BSO, I went back to the late Mr. Amerman LP collection. I didn't have to dig too far and found this recording from 1968 on RCA with the BSO !
As I’m going through my collection slowly posting as I spin I will eventually get to my classical titles even though it’s a small amount of records

No need to keep Alice in a closet, unless you mount a T.T. in there as well.

While discussing Elton John
His song Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting was like an anthem and something that we took literally in my youth
The Westies ( my area ) group would head into town Saturday night to drink and dance and pick up chicks ( as you do when young )
If the other area groups East - South - North tried to spoil our fun - then fights were the only way to settle the score
Because I was more of a surfer type I was never in a group but had to obey the location of what group one belonged to
I have witnessed some fights that would send shivers up your spine - but the amazing thing is, In those days, once they were finished and the perking order was established they all got along and drank together

I am now listening to some Prog from an Australian band called Madder Lake - Album Still Point ( have posted it way back in the thread )
While listening I searched for some history and found this short 10 min documentary video of the bands history
Please enjoy - also keep an eye out about the comments about the band Queen

That's HEAVY @Full Range!
Every time I've voted for a decade or so I pretend I've got laryngitis and just hold out my drivers license.
It enrages the dumb-dumbs but I do my psuedo sign language while blood shoots out of their eyes and sulfur smoke rises from their heads. Then they try to put a stupid "I voted" sticker on me.
We voted for using ID to be mandatory, it overwhelmingly passed, the polit-bureau overturned that a month later.
Our revolution is being perpetrated on the people by the usurpers.
I find timing at the polling station is crucial
Go early and the leaflet buzzards get you as one enters the gate ( most polling stations are at schools )
They open from 8am to 6pm
So I go after 5 pm
Everyone is tired and it’s a quick dash to vote and out again

We have an election tomorrow
And yes it’s compulsory for everyone over 18 to vote
Anyway my thoughts are to contemplate the parties policies and while in doing that I will be listening to
Gil Scott-Herron
The revolution will not be televised
