Thought I would continue with Synergy’s 4th album
Larry Fast is a true pioneer of electronic music
And I would class this album genre as experimental electronic
This album I believe was conceived while Larry was touring with Peter Gabriel
Cool looking cover as well

WOW!
Quadrophenia has always been one of my favorites, not just the Who favorites but top ten stuff all the way!
I've had it on cassette made at my friend Rick's place in like 1980 or so.
Good find, and darnit another lp I've got to track down since my deck has serious wow&flutter now.
Have you seen the movie Quadrophenia
Some memories have come to the surface from when I went to see it at the cinema and later on TV

I have experienced large changes in sound quality for the better when one uses better quality capacitors and resistors

Good evening my vinyl spinning friends! Over in RTM at a Sunday evening session! I am following Paul's lead tonight with one from my collection. I fell in love with Larry Fast when his first Synergy LP came out! So, all of the recordings I have of him were purchased back in those days... Being a synthesist myself from the mid 70ies, I sure took notice of this 'synthesizer/symphonic' composer...
That record is in my collection @Tigerman
I think I’m missing a couple of albums from Larry’s Synergy releases
I have the first 5 releases
All are very good and enticing

Needed to play an LP to after a short break and it’s also raining in my location
Boy does an LP sound great when it’s raining outside
Settled on a brilliant album by a brilliant musician
An all synth recording taken to the pinnacle of its being

Title - Audion

Good morning Paul ! We are enjoying a BluRay audio in both 2.0 and 5.1 doing some switching and listening and enjoying
I am good mate - how are you
I haven’t used a DVD player for years ( except for the other day when I played a Tangerine Dream DVD I was given )
New LG smart TV just plug in a USB or hard drive with content and way you go
I had a 7.1 system with self built Lowther full range speakers but preferred stereo
Now watching the biggest car race in Australia — The Bathurst 1000

I went to the hardware store and purchased another length of Tasmanian Oak timber for the plinth
Will use the damaged one as a test template so the new plinth does not get scratched ect
Also found some base board materials in my garage so considering this as well for a more robust build
Baseboard material available is
25mm thick - high density MDF
25mm thick - Laminated bamboo
I have enough material to make a loose isolation base board for coupling as well
Son in-law is a timber floor layer so I’m going to get him to cut the 45 deg angles and the baseboard for me

Sounds like that dog might just be a small horse! How'd the talk with him go after he bumped you? 😂
I had to have the dog close to me because he has been sick due to tick paralysis
And he was happy just watching from the top of the stairs
Then I suppose momentum to over when he chased a lizard
I was a little upset but I used facial expressions to show my displeasure 😤

As if we wouldn't know Cannonball Adderley.
You and I are old timers but most young folks wouldn’t know of either Sérgio or Cannonball
I have seen TV news segments and some young folks don’t know who the Beatles are 😲
