@dirtmudd I think you will like this album

I have it on digital media - not on record But I look out for Frank Zappa when I’m at a record fair

Death’s music - That’s better than the Knack 👍🏼

Thanks - I like my M2 And unless an amp surpasses it - it’s not in my interest Another factor is the exchange rate and local tax now imposed from July will just about double the cost
-
Tomorrow if time permits I will be spinning some Frank Zappa - A Recent addition to the vinyl collection
-
I have lots of DECCA pressings and they seem to have lots of life the those grooves
-
I just got the email myself Have you heard the amp camp SS on our La Scala compared to the M2

@wdecho Don’t tempt me with an F7 - I forbid you He knows what I am getting at because he convinced me to build the M2 , but thankful his argument was sound and I built the M2 😃😃😃

I just picked up a point that @Emile made with inputs Most DIY amps need to be used with a control or pre amp It may not apply to you But keep that in mind
-
You don’t need 300 watts to drive sensitive Klipsch speakers Don’t fall in that trap of - bigger is better -
-
In this thread you will see an F6 build and my review of the 2 amps in question about half way down https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/176320-firstwatt-f6-build/&tab=comments#comment-2271730

Gas or electric oven? What's everyone's preference if you could choose.
Full Range replied to avguytx's topic in Lounge
I vote for Gas as it’s the best For the last 30 years we have used gas hot plates and a gas wall oven We also have and use a gas pizza oven -
First Watt designs are a special breed of amps All have a different sound signature and are in most cases 25 A class watts For my klipsch speakers I find the M2 and F6 designs in that order to be the best amps that bring out the best attributes of the speakers
-
Be aware that kits are generally made / offered at a price point Changing the components by using better capacitors and resistors can double your cost I know this from experience building 3 First Watt amps, but results are also noticeable so to me money well spent
-
