Morning all... Thank you all for the birthday wishes.... Yes 54 this year..... We have the same Chef when we go. He is quite the clown always drinking a beer and carrying on with us. and yes he puts on a good show with his cutlery skills and the FIRE... yea yea Fire Thank you Mookie and yes the good time has/is carried into the weekend. We had some friends over last night and it was the 1st night we spent on the deck. Got all the Tiki torches out and @oldtimer favorite Tiki god statues. After some time on the deck we watched The Accountant. Our friends hadn't seen that. The BOSS and I watched it a week or two ago and really liked it. WoW Mike that looks awesome. What movie did you all watch? OK my coffee buds gonna just took The BOSS her 1st cup. Getting my day rolling... don't know what I'll get into today.... gonna sip on some coffee and ponder my thoughts Later all... MKP :-)

Evening all, Just got back from a great dinner with The BOSS, youngest daughter, son, his girlfriend, my mom and dad, and two of our good friends. It was a birthday celebration for me and my youngest daughter. My eldest daughter stop in the restaurant with my two grand kids just to say hi. We had dinner at this Japanese steak house that we go to quite a bit. We know most off the staff & owner so we don't have to behave. Also had a good day at the shop. yea Carl... work has been picking up quite a bit. and I'm good with one or two jobs a day. It just get real scary when I see only one or two jobs booked for the week..... that aint enough even for a one man shop. I've stopped trying to figure it out and just enjoy the fact that we have traffic through our drive. For real.... My busiest month ever at the shop has been a December. Go figure, I don't know how or why. It used to be that tax return time and the beginning of summer "was" the busiest time but it's just not so any more. Right OK...... later MKP :-)

Morning all... Grandson on the bus... The BOSS got a BIG Tic Tac Toe board yesterday so we were playing a few games before the bus came. We always walk out front of the house and he asks all kinds of questions. Today he asked me " why do we poop and pee?" So I did my best to explain to a seven year old why.... It was good for a few laughs... OK... rolling out got some work at the shop... been picking up lately.... How's work been for you guys Carl? Later... MKP :-)

I watched a show on the Tesla factory last night... Awesome they make most of the parts right on site. It's the largest factory in the eastern hemisphere. MKP :-)

Afternoon all, Was a rainy day yesterday so we didn't go to my old shop helpers party. It was changed from a outdoor cookout to a game night and bring a dish.... not into it... So we went out to dinner with another couple. Came back to the house and watched two movies. We also rolled into the shop for me to finish up my friends Acura. It's my man Jimmy's car my Indonesian friend. The tabs that hold the drivers window glass to the motor/regulator came off the glass. I glued the tabs back on the glass Friday and let them set for 24 hours before putting the glass back in the car. Once that was done we took the car over to Jimmy, he was working at the Chinese restaurant. That way his wife wouldn't have to drag there kids out at 11:00 pm to pick him up from work. Not too much going on today... My youngest daughter Emma is coming over to the house to do laundry. Shes bringing her dog so Stoney and Boney will not be happy. Stoney will run and hide but the Bone will hold his ground. He doesn't loose sight of the dog. Anyway, @oldtimer the Stone is doing good. He's kinda got a new thing going on for the last month or so. He's been waking we up around 5:00 in the morning by batting my face with his paw or nibbling on my chin. He wants me to let him in the covers. Once he's in, he'll snuggle next to me and sleep or if that's not good enough he'll keep nibbling for me to pet him. Some of those nibbles hurt and if he doesn't settle down and sleep I'll kick him out. He's a mess... and I understand he just wants love but at 5 in the morning it aint happening!! Stoney is something you must experience in person. When our friends come over the Stone will go from person to person getting his love on. He is really a people cat. Even our friends that are not into cats love the Stone. He really is something else. Carl I see your into another home project... Your bad for that my man. Keep us posted and good luck with it. Now were getting some work done on the house this year. New siding and the back of the house will be done in the fake stone. The BOSS has been wanting this for years. For the last year I've got a nice stack of cash from side work and the tax re-fund will also come into play. Looks like the sun is coming out.... gonna fire the grill up and cook up some ribs... Morning/afternoon gang... Checking in to see whats been going on.. We've gotten crazy busy at the shop and just got a bunch of crapp going on. Been putting alot of time in at the shop after hours working on my 86 CRX Si. I hope to have it running this year. Got the Ev's all set up the other night only to find out that the three Crown amps that I got are not working 100%. All kinds of noise coming out of them. They are the smaller Crowns CE 1000's. I was going to bridge two for the 18" bass bins and run one for the tops. My audio bud Ryan was over the other night for a few hours and we isolated it too the amps.... what a bummer. Then we were going to use my big Crown Macro-tech to drive the bass bins but we didn't have the correct adapters. Anyway it's going to rain today so I'm not taking my gear over to my buds house for the party. Gonna go back and try to catch up on some posts... Take care all... have a great weekend.... MKP :-)

Morning all. Yea BSM sorry to hear about your friend. That's some tuff chitt. I lost a friend some years back to cancer. He was only 33. He was one of those good guys... man he would do anything for ya. Testicular cancer... He one removed and was doing good for about a year then it cam back. We ran into him one night and he was a shell of a man. After we spoke and that last hug I knew that was the last time I would ever see him. I have a pic of him hanging in the shop.... and when I'm having a chitt day and I"m thinking how "bad" I got it...... I'll look at that pic, and then it slaps me in my face that I'm OK and I'm lucky to be having a "chitt" day! Yes was a good day in China Town. Weather was great. Really starting to heat up.... put the window A/C's in last night. Gonna be in the 90's today... OK grandson on the bus..... gonna roll out and get it done.... a good day to all. Will post pics of the EV's... really great shape, and the guy gave me a bunch of cables and poles to mount my other EV's to the subs. Might give em a work out this weekend on the deck and I'll be breaking out the Tiki's and the Tiki statues that @oldtimer likes so much... MKP :-)

I see if I can get The BOSS to post some pics of the day. Will be getting a hair cut and eating lots of food. Picked up some EV 18" subs last night. Afternoon all, One or two lumps of milk The BOSS found this "milk" in the shop fridge yesterday. I guess we forgot about it lol lol... Work is picking up a bit...... had a nice money making job yesterday and the used car guys are keeping me busy today... Check in later.... A good Taco Tuesday to all... MKP :-)

Evening all The BOSS and I just got back from some training we had to do. I'm going to be a chaperone when my grandson goes to the Baltimore Zoo. The field trip is in the beginning of May should be a fun time. My grandson is very excited that I'm going Weren't we all Cool story.... Awesome Dave ... fun times i think calling the cops on you was justified in this case. Rock and Roll my brother! That's what i'm talking about, the music not the volume. OK both. Yea Yea Yea.... lol lol I don't do a whole lot of rap... but the bass in some of the rap is on another level.... I can feel my kidneys vibrating..... and it's got to have a good beat and make sense. We were also playing some "techno" some Crystal Method.... now that's some bass. We saw the Crystal Method a couple times got to meet them last year at a show. We saw them in Baltimore about four years ago and that show was the most "BASS" I have ever ever experienced. I could feel my sinuses vibrate as I was breathing though my nose.... Later.... MKP :-)

Yea I think your right Carl.... something is going on..... the last time I remember it being this slow was when gas hit over $4.25 a gal and before that it was the housing market crash. This time of year I should be pissed off cuz I have too much work...... and like your say it's not just one or two shops it's everywhere... The used car guys next to me are not doing real good...... But ya know I'm in town and I see restaurants are packed..... I see new house construction..... There's a guy down the street getting a in ground pool put in. I just don't know MKP :-)

Were we live state troopers come out most of the time. I don't live in a "residential" type neighbor hood.. There's a busy main road that were on and the houses are not right on top of each other. Oh yea we were pushing those JBL's..... I really think it was because of the open windows. There were quite a few "F" Bombs for sure and that might have something to do with it..... but yea the open window thing that's what did it..... Yea for real Mark..... the bass was nuts..... All I can think about is how the living room was acting like a compression chamber pumping the bass outside lol lol..... and I didn't have any subs playing.... MKP :-)
