Crown K2 amp in excellent condition purchased approx 5 yrs ago from a fellow forum member, don't recall who.
Located in Hemphill, TX 75948
Delivered to me Pony Express from Hope Pilgrimage by Carl CECAA850
Interests changed, and my little fish in new 100 gal tank would not appreciate me using the wattage, so I got by feeding my 456 like Frankenklipsches w a smaller amp.Never hooked up the K2 since I received it, stored blanketed and boxed in AC'd non smoking home.
Advertising and selling on only this Forum where this amp was known and I had some history a few years ago.
Will only deal w well known members, or otherwise pre pay.
Willing to properly pack and ship, but that will add buyers expense ballpark $75 estimate
Photos can be taken when serious prospect requests.
Thank you , Marc Jassky 409 579 3860 eves best

Hey all, haven't been here for awhile....
Watching Currently Online, streaming, looping, if anyone is interested.
No other comments, not to be censored, just sayin.
This is NOT about Religion, but of a Public Figure passing.
Only the fourth civilian in the history of our Country reposing in Death in our National Capitol rotunda.
Also, previously, Rosa Parks.

Paul - PM response sent.
Thank you Jim and others. Marc

Tryin to help someone here.
I may suggest to him to list here for honorable prospects as compared to the Bay, , but feeling kinda shy due to lack of feedback here.
I know I'm not in the Clique here, but this is irrelevant of that.
I have no dog in this fight other than trying to help a good guy from another Forum I frequent, , not an Audio guy. Marc

Any more guidance?
If the intent is to sell, any advantage to having it serviced first?
Any ballpark idea as to value as is?
Told the guy I'd let him know what ya'll sed tonight.
Thank you again, Marc

Jim - I will point him to that.
Gonna give him this thread link after some more feedbacks.
Thank you !! Marc

Hey All ! I have an acquaintance that works at a school as a Music teacher.
Somebody donated a Sansui BA-3000 in apparent excellent cosmetic shape to the school, it's his job to maximize this donation.
Anything he sells it for goes into the school music department.
He did hook it up, and "it seems to work fine"
But he has NO history of service or any other details.
Asking you Folks for suggestions as to to how / what venue/ etc.. how to best sell this to get fair $ return back to the school.
Some others are suggesting ebay, sounds potentially scary to me for a bigger ticket item.
In his position in this, of course he needs to be careful that nothing negative happens. Thank you, Marc

Looking for someone that lives where the Post Title is , to possibly maybe help w a simple but VERY important to me project.
If you live near the Lake there, or get to the MN North Shore often, and have a few hours to spare in next few months, no rush to do the job, chime in Please.
I'm MN Native, stuck in TX, .
Thank you All, Marc

I, myself, have not seen these before.
With my limited knowledge, they are not the Speakerlab ones, no "ribs".
They were not made by Klipsch, were they?
Thought someone may have interest.
Not cheap, $250/ pr + $95 ship. Marc

Not discounting the point of the post, a separate technical issue.
That link is to one of those websites with a separate series of photos on different pages, that tries to divert you to all kinds of crap.
When I went there, a number of tries, all different , no matter what I clicked to continue to a second house picture, it brought me to some totally unrelated stupid Uber related link.
So I was still curious to see the other houses, and finally directly tried the mcmansionhell.com, and it does not go there.
Am I that internet stupid, or what?
Rarely have trouble.
Anyone else w this problem???? Marc

Thanks All.
I will direct him to the two links above. Marc

I still have to put id back together
This is what I have to entertain me. It's a cylinder off of a hit-miss engine...you know, the ones with the large flywheels on each end of the crank. It has a 9-1/8" bore and is ~ 25" long. I am going to bore and sleeve it. I did one for the same person several years ago. It had a 12" bore and I forgot how long the bore is. The one before I ran it in a lathe. This one I'll use my Lucas Horizontal Boring Mill. I'll make the bore / sleeve relationship to where I'll have to heat the cylinder to make the sleeve go. When it cools, it will have grabbed the sleeve and I will have to set it all back up to make a bore to the piston size. I used 2 dial indicators in the cylinder to make it true. This is where the shims come into play...and some judgement as to how egg shaped the warn-out bore is and as you might see, where the shims go is not inline with the indicator so it is tough to call.
Setup can be time consuming because:
The quill has to be centered to the bore
the bore will not be end-to-end inline with the quill...even if the quill is centered on one end, it won't be on the other
after ya think that the shimming is done, there is the side to side and the same problems
have it all lined up and commence to back patting, yay...until the straps to hold it to the table pulls a twist that has to chase back out.
OMG I'm going to kill myself.
UNBELIAVABLE stuff, AND, I have made MANY things in my time, including a 1976 Jeep CJ5 from totally rebuilt totally bare naked bare frame up to a daily driver for 12 years. Marc

Woofers - Very cool interesting stuff.
Obviously you have some machining skill, so that can help. Marc

Thank you Gentlemen.
For now, just need to know the bottom line ballpark $ for a projector to handle that situation, nothing more.
We have NO idea if it's like $500, or 5K.
That's all I need for now.
Thank you, Marc

Woofers I think meant - If the shim is in a roll of thin stock curled to the same size of shaft OD, POSSIBLY you could work it under each finger individually, moving the spiral of the coil shim downwards, as you do all fingers.
A very good thought, but not gonna happen CAUSE the previously held teeth will dig into the shim stock as you make room and try to move it down to the next finger.
Hope that made sense.
Geez - Find a local Clockmaker to help. Marc

By the sellers response in the Q&A it appears that he went shopping around March 1984 wanting to buy Cornwall II speakers. Hi-Fi Salesman Denny, knowing they didn't have any CWII yet since they weren't even introduced, sold him original Cornwalls that were produced in 1982 (from the "X" in the serial number). Paperwork in "error" showed Cornwall II were purchased. Denny got his sale and big commission (since he sold 2 year old speakers for a premium) and bought a six pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon and tickets to an Iron Maiden concert to celebrate. It only took 32 years for the buyer to realize he was taken for a ride.
Possibly a package of condoms as well ? Marc

If you do go that route of sacrificing feeler gauge, obviously use some thicknesses that you really don't care about.
Otherwise, just cut some scrap metal from ? soup can?.
Just don't slice the hell out of your fingers doing the whole process.
DANGGGGG ..... Overall very scary. Marc

I Salute your Courage for "going in"
I do see and understand your immediate problem.
The fingers act as a "Circlip" would, but separated multiple fingers.
Must be a very specialized miniature tool for this.
Otherwise, all that comes to mind is "Pandora's Box" and "Rabbithole", and... the "World of Hurt" phrase.
Unless you have done this kinda work before anyway.
I have no real answer, no solution.
But I really hope it works when you're finished.
Hopefully, with no "extra parts".
BUT, again, I do honestly acknowledge your possession of Gigante Huevos. Marc

Hey all !
I have an acquaintance with this idea of setting up in his back yard a "Drive in Theatre"
For us old guys, kind of a fun idea I think.
All I would like to know is - Realistically, ballpark idea of how much will he end up spending on a suitable projector?
And I assume his regular DVD player or laptop will feed it w/o much other fanciness needed , Correct?
Lets say 15'-20' diagonal screen size.
So I assume the main thing here is sufficient brightness.
We know NOTHING about these.
No more info is needed at this time other than price ballpark estimate for that application.
No Model #'s, nothing but just an educated $ figure, and a confirm on my source feed general question.
Thank you all, Marc

You very well may have surprising odor issues, specially in warmer weather.
I had one of those on a boat, really didn't like it.
Really a hassle to take apart and go dump.
After experiencing both, I really think plastic bags and this below is much better option overall.
Dispose of bag as often as you wish.
O, and they even make "stink and leak proof" bags specifically for this use, but more expensive than regular ones. Marc

Just an idea - Melted hot Butter, ballpark 1:1 with the hot sauce may be a great option.
Makes a big difference.
For us , anyway.
But you probably already know, and maybe do that.
Just a popular option, we love it. Marc

JimJimbo - Lightly floured, then deep fried, (but NOT overcooked-- "drying out") like it seems how you did is AWESOME.
GREAT job!!!!
Wings are the only part of the Chicken I love.
Make them often, similar to your recipe, sometime w teriyaki type alternate flavor, but sooo spensive now.
Whole "fresh" wings, $2.69/ lb here. very rarely on sale, and not much cheaper.
Grandma would be Spinning, last she knew they were 39 cents. Marc
