  1. I just purchased one of these to be able to switch back from my receiver(HT) to my integrated amp(music) and it has worked really good. I have one concern though. I have the RP280f and I listen to music very often. I was planning to get a 2ch amp at 150wpc to power them but the amp selector says it can only take or handle 100w rms. Will this really be an issue? I listen to music very loud. Just 2ch. 658025b68bcc562ac8284caa39c00655.jpgc07e43ef8cb537936e371e76d55e5e24.jpg

  2. Why do you care what "others" have to say, but since you asked for it:
First, stop reading what others say about equipment on-line, especially equipment you already own
Second, ADCOM is very good quality equipment, well designed and serviceable and has been well received by the "professional reviewer" types since their inception, but more importantly so, the folks who bought their stuff
Third, I do not know, and never have known what "entry level" means
I just know good sounding equipment when I hear it
    ADCOM's got that covered

I was just curious. As I personally think there good amps too. I just wanted to hear from someone that might own one and what they thought about there performance.

  3. How do you guys feel about these amps? I’ve read online that these are entry level amps. I own one and use it to power my surrounds and center. At 50wpc and I have to say there not bad at all. Just wanted to hear what Others have to say in regards.

  4. Okay my experience.

I own and have owned 12 Acurus amps.

    A100, A100X3, A150, A150, A200, A200, 200X3, A200X3, A250, A250, 200FIVE, 200FIVE

Only one(200FIVE) of them had any failures(before I purchased) and it was a single channel that failed because dog bit into speaker wire.  I paid $150.00 to have it repaired and it ran like a charm.

How do these compare to Adcom amps?

  5. Definitely the RC-64 center...the surrounds could be the RS-7 with RS-62?  See if he can send you a photo of the rear tags of the speakers.  That way you will know exactly what he has.

    Surrounds are RS62’s and RS3’s

  6. If that "complete RF-83 home theater" comes with a minimum of 2 RF-83s, 1 RC-64, 4 RS-52s, and 1 RT-12d, then $2500.00 is a steal for a very fine setup.  If the surrounds are RS-62s, then even a better deal.

  7. A friend of mine is looking into these speakers. The whole 7.1 system for $2500. I have no idea how these speakers sound or perform. I do own and I’m very pleased with my RP280’s. I could use some input from those who know more. So I can help him out. If not I’ll recommend something else. Thanks. a9ce327b4af30e452cdfc72a6bab34ee.jpg

  8. I purchased a pair of RW 1’s(buy one get one free) and one was suppose to be a gift. Well I have to say that my frustration hit the limit. I’m very good with these things and I’ve never struggled with any electronic device as much as I did with this. Countless hours wasted and nothing. I’m very disappointed in Klipsch for making a product and not testing it enough before selling it. The whole thing is a fiasco. The apps, the updating and the way to connect.

It worked here and there and most of the time it would disconnect before a song was even over. The only way I got it to work consistently was by using the Ethernet. Then when I was updating, the speaker just stayed in limbo. I’ve read some post that many others are having similar issues with these wireless products. Well I returned the speakers and I’m getting the R-15PM in cherry. Something more reliable and with bigger sound. For about the same price of one of these. I wish I would of got one when one of the stores was closing. They had them at $150 new.

Never will I purchase another wireless product from Klipsch that doesn’t have Bluetooth capability or other hook ups. Well, I’m done Ranting[emoji30].

  9. Wow this is getting out of hand. I really feel for you guys. I’m having issues with a pair of RW 1’s. The play fi Klipsch app is worthless and it’s so frustrating. I cannot get them to play at all. I tried it earlier today after I re set it up. It played for half a song and it disconnected. That’s how it goes all the time. I thought I was the only one. So it seems nothing is being done. Im just going to return them. Only had them for a few days. One was suppose to be a Christmas present. The sound is pretty good but it doesn’t matter if the speaker won’t work. The worse part is that the only way you can use it, is through the piece of trash app. They really screwed up big time. No Bluetooth or anything. Just WiFi. I don’t know who Came up with these ideas but they need to get fired.

  10. I’m planing to but a speaker switch/router box to hook up 2 different amps(music and movies) to a set of speakers. Does it matter or will it make a difference in sound if I use speaker wire from switch box to amps instead of RCA’s interconnects or vise versa. Any impedance issues?

  11. I ordered an RP-280 system and was accidentally sent the RP280FA ATMOS speakers.  Unfortunately these won't do me any good since I have cloud ceiling panels to dampen reflections.  What should I do?  I can trade for the speakers I want...or see if Klipsch wants them back and sends the correct ones.

I have the 280’s in Black. If your interested in trading.

  12. Yes, been using it for a couple months now.  Very impressive product IMHO.  I'm still figuring stuff out too - it's a bit of a mind-set change from vanilla iTunes or Audirvana.

I’m on a 60 day trial. I messed with it all night long and found it kinda tedious. I’m very techie too. It’s a challenge to be honest. I use Tidal and integrated them and i found it very intuitive I also find it more complex at the same time. I guess I just need more time and hands on. I also notice the sampling conversion and I’m not too sure how it works. It’s either Enhanced or Lossless. I’m using the dragonfly black as dac. So we’ll see how it does.
