  1. Thank you so much for the detailed answer. Really gives me something to chew on.
  2. If I may ask, please elaborate.Well for me i have the rp 440c and it sounds graet . Clear and crisp. But it is warmer than the rf 62 ii ihad and the rc 25 i had . Suppose to make less fatiguing if you watch movies a lot or tv so onand so on. Personaly i think they hit on the head . Deatail is still their .smooth panning effect and still dynamic. I say go for the 450c . I think it looks better (classy) laying the long way sounds great i would assume like i said i have the 440c and no regrets.Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk Four is better than two. In my world anyway. What i would like to no is how is the subwoofer r15 sw . I see its on sale for 719.00 and i havent made my mind ip i want that or svs.Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk I can help you with that. What do you use now?I had the 10 inch of that model but sent it back. And i have not decided yet.Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk Well I will tell you this, it is far more powerful. For the money, it will compete with subs much higher in price. My old 12" Def Tech Supercube wasn't even close to this thing. Not just in power, but clarity. Klipsch claims 18Hz reponse, I have tested 16 Hz with no huffing and puffing. It works well at both low volume, remaining present and full sounding, and at reference levels, it will blow your eardrums (not really). I did have to tune out a peak at around 67Hz when in initial tuning, but that was easy. I use as a 2.1 as well and enjoy high quality vinyls including Metallica and AC/DC. I recommend.

  5. You understand my dilemma. There is a little devil on my left shoulder saying "Upgrade Upgrade Upgrade." And there is a little angel on my right shoulder saying the same darn thing!!!!
  6. I preach that very statement. Hmmmm...makes a guy think...
  7. They advertise that they can, but I did verify using a tone generator and my Dirac. It really starts huffing and puffing at 15, but 16 really does work. But you cam hear the struggle below that through the port. Klipsch isn't lying, 16hz is rock bottom for the Su but it does work. Hey NISMO, I just made a post about center channels and would appreciate your input if you wouldn't mind. Thx!
  8. Hey all! So most of you veterans know I recently got a pair of RP-280F's, a R-115SW, and the RP-160 bookshelf surrounds. My question is - I am currently using an RC-62 II Center, and it works just fine. But, would I be better off using the new RP-450C? Would there be that much of a difference? I have the understanding that one should match when/wherever we can, but to my knowledge, there really isn't anything wrong with the RC-62II. Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

  10. It's all good. I drive a 2004 E55 AMG, supercharged with many many upgrades. Has gotten me in trouble numerous times. Anyway. Yeah...speakers. Lol
  11. If I had to pick a Halo Soundtrack...I would say Halo 2 myself. But they are all rather awesome. Great choices!
  12. I started with Pioneer's MCACC and got okay results. Then went to a Dirac processor to do fine calibration. Remember, it needs to sound good to you, not to anyone else.
  13. What types of receiver/pre-amp/processor do you use? Do you have a microphone to test volume level?
  14. Thx NISMO. And, to break the good news, I did!!! Ordered 4, or two pair of 140SA's. Dolby ATMOST, here I come!!! Excellent! Great timing with cash back from the new sales event. Looks like your SC-91 is 7.2 & you're getting 4 RP-140SA's (making for 9 total channels/speaker inputs).... what will you be using to power the 2nd pair of 140SA's? My set up is similar & I use the Emotiva mini-x a100 (2ch amp) to drive my rear 140SA's. Congrats on the new DAES (Dolby Atmos Enabled Speakers) !! Hey NISMO, I just received and OTA update and can now do DTS: X!!! Woooo for firmware updates!
  15. The new SC Series got released. As some of you know, I have been using an SC-91 and love it. Now, the higher range models has come out up to the SC-99. ***My Klipsch sound amazing with my Elite, and I just wanted the community to know that the higher level is out!!!***
  16. Awesome! I use 5.1 for gaming (Obviously) and crystal clear. For PS4 and XBOX1, they seem flawless. I can detect location via surround clearly with no lag or distortion. Playing the Last of Us Remastered, I can almost feel the wind in certain scenes. Detail from the L/C/R is the best with games. Audio frame of reference is spot on.
  17. Oh nice! I have some new stuff on the way. Community memeber NISMO inadvertently talked me into getting and ATMOS setup. Okay okay, he didn't talk me into it, I did it to myself And I have a big Marantz amp to power all my silly adventures.
  18. Oh man...oh...man. That is a terrible yet funny story. Can you image how dead quiet it was when that happened??? I wouldn't even know how to react.
  19. Holy cow!!! That's a treasure trove. There are plenty of good would-be owners in the community. I am sure you can lighten the load. Nice collection. And VERY nice current system.
  20. If that ever happened, no one would hear from me again. I would visit violence upon their being until total death. Not until mostly dead...we're talking about all dead. Like, go through their pockets for loose change kind of dead.
  21. Wow, that was the premium unit bad when!!! I had a lesser version of it. Saved for a long time as a young teen to get it.
  22. Funny you say that. We actually have a decent carpet cleaner. Yes yes, I know...but we love having people over.
