  4. what kind of power were you putting in? with high current , for me the cf's are more full on the lower end but are missing a little extra kick the klf's provide. I also ran my klf's with dual subs though. by themselves I would take the cf

  10. Hello everyone, I have owned a few klipsch speakers. I had a pair of klf 20's that i sold a few years back and am thinking about another pair. for my style of music they just seem to work well. I have a pair of cf-4 rev1 that I like but they are for a different space. any thoughts on klf' 20's vs CF 3? . Anyone designed a diy with a double base cabinet and horns on top? they will be used for music and home theater. parasound amp 220w per channel
  11. in the I read this post. Jim says the mid is basically same as the mid on the klf but the klipsch website has them listed differently CF- K-63-KN 2" , KLF K-52-1.5"
  12. I am hoping to buy jwebers speakers but if it doesn't work out it's nice to know I have a chance at another set.
  13. Spoke through pm to jweber. I am 2nd in line but I can hope! Cf-3's could be an acceptable fallback position
  14. Youthman, I was staring at the picture of your hT setup. looks awesome!

  16. Youthman, I am in west palm. willing to travel....
  17. I really appreciate all your reponses. I believe I will pass on he version 3 and try to be patient (not something I'm good at) If I got the version 3, every time I played them I would be thinking about it. Mike
  18. Thank you! They are version 3, he is firm on his price. I would really prefer to have the ver. 1 or 2 . Has anybody heard the different versions who could comment on how different the sound is? I'm torn on weather I should take the sure thing or be patient hoping that a version 1 will turn up.
  19. I know it won't be easy but it'll be a lot harder if I don't try. He wants a premium price.
  20. Hi, I went to buy a pair of mint forte's today and the seller had a pair of CF-4 version 3. After hearing the CF-4, I knew for my area, 35' x 25 ', opening to the outdoors. I want the bigger profile of the CF-4 or possibly 3's . I am not looking to beat anyone up on price, Florida would be best but I would pay shipping as well. I sold my cornwalls and klf-20's when I got married and now have an area to be able to get my klipsch back! Mike
