Trying to get in to inspect these. But have been unsuccessful at getting a response from the guy there. Some areas of the college were flooded and just want to verify they haven’t been under water.

I just moved to Chattanooga 2 weeks ago. I’ll be watching them closely. If anyone else from the area is bidding let me know so we’re not bidding against each other.

But if the guy only has 1 or 2 pictures you still have to contact him for specifics. I thought we posted these to give a heads up to the group. If someone is actually in the market for a particular item and it gets posted here then I would think they’d make the effort to click the link and try to make a deal. Not sit on his hands and say...well I’ll just hang out and hope for someone to load some pictures for me then I’ll contact the seller. I have a factory built/wired Eico Hf-81. This is stamped “tested feb 26 1959 Eico Brooklyn NY” this seems to be pretty rare. You can see by how clean the wiring is ran and It also has riveted tube sockets where kits have screw down sockets. This is all original and will need to be overhauled prior to use. It works and passes sound but that’s the extent of testing. Tubes are eico(mullard) amprex and GE. I also have the hft-90 tuner that I would throw in for $50. Both are in really good condition, slight surface rust on outer chassis of the 81. Thanks, Mark

Hey mcobb, This is Madman here. I’m sorry these guys jumped on you like they did. I’m the guy who suggested you come here because I thought these guys would be interested. They can be a bit rude. I’m also the one who told the group the price you were asking fort them, only because they were blasting questions about price and location and I thought I could help answer them. No, he has the full 7.1 setup. He is local to me and we’ve emailed back and forth a few times. I recommend he post them here. I think he is under the assumption that they are version 1. I don’t have enough knowledge of the epic series to know. He was asking $4k for the 7.1 or $2500 for just the cf4. I thought this was too high but, again I don’t know enough about the epic speakers. He said they were purchased and never taken out of the box until 2018. So they should be pristine. He’s 30 minutes west of Atlanta.

Yea, it’s tough. I understand that things happen and people have bad days but, I was just thinking he’d postpone me for another day not pitch a fit and say I’m done. Anyway I have a new appreciation for how good the speakers are and someone is gonna love them.

So....guy just emailed me and said he had a bad morning, flat tire etc...and after he committed and gave me his “word” and had me pull them off the market he’s not coming to get these anymore. Very frustrating! So these are back on the market. Thanks!
