  1. Not mine. No knowledge of seller. https://okaloosa.craigslist.org/ele/d/crestview-klipsch-la-scala-vintage/6863978549.html
  2. The speakers have been sold. Thanks to all for looking.
  3. Mrs Dtel, You have Email at your Yahoo account. Tried to call - no answer. Will try later.
  4. Well, I guess that I figured it out!
  5. I was unable to get the attachment to work. Please Email for Pictures.
  6. I have a pair of Forte II speakers (Oak Oil #19 grill) in good shape forsale. There are a couple of very small knicks on the front edges - as would be expected with use - otherwise they are in excellent shape. They just didn't work out for what I wanted to do. The serial numbers are: 0443918/u and 0443918/1. I think that $350 is a fair price for forum members. Pickup 50 miles East of Pensacola, FL. Email - jmcc9@cox.net
  7. The difference between the Academy and KLF-C7 is subtle yet distinct when using them as a center channel for Cornwall mains. I first bought a KLF-C7 to use as a center channel. The timber matching, while close, just wasn't there when matched with the Cornwalls. Additionally when a sound would pan from left to right or in the other direction, the sound would jump at some point between the center and the main. Once I got an Academy to use for a center, the timber matching was better and any sounds panned smoothly across the front speakers. I have not had the opportunity to try a Heresy as a center so I can not comment on how one would sound. Just my two pennies.
  8. Jim, Please E-mail me at jmcc9@cox.net. I would like the RS-3s and the Academy. thanks MadDawg
  9. Yes, I have considered ceiling mounting. My main concern is the tensil stress on the mounting screws vice the shear stress on the screw if wall mounted. I guess the smart thing to do would be to make a mounting board for the speaker that could then be attached to two ceiling joists. In the rudementary days of pro-logic, I did mount two car speakers in my ceiling -- another house -- and they did the job well for their capabilities. Now I'm just trying to get a set of surrounds that will do the job at a price that I can afford and sound good with the Corns.
  10. I was recently lucky enough to be able to purchase a pair of Cornwalls and a KLF-C7. Now I must find a suitable set of surround speakers. I need to be able to mount the surround speakers on the rear wall of my family room. My sofa sits against this wall, but I usually move my chair to the optimum listening position well in front of the rear wall. Floor standing speakers won't hack the WAF. From reading the different posts here, it appears that an acceptable choice would be the RS-3. I saw a pair of KSF-S5 surrounds fosale. Since these are significantly cheaper than the RS-3 -- meaning that I could get them now -- would the KSF-S5s match with the Cornwalls and the C7 or is it just better to bite the bullet and save more money for a set of RS-3s? Is there a better choice that would be wall mountable, pass the, "It must look good" WAF, and still be in the price range of the RS-3 or below. Any and all suggestions appreciated.
