  1. I just finished with a 2 mile walk. Thats as far as I go, because it can be done in a reasonable amount of time, and its not so far I dread it. I do it 4 or 5 times a week, and work out with weights 2. When you got off the sugar its like coming off drugs I would think. The third day was the worst for me. Foods you only tolerated before suddenly taste much better, Eating healthy foods helps your mood also. Im far from perfect but doing much better!   2. I try to eat 4 complex carbs about the size of my fist and 4 protein sources about the size of the palm of my hand per day. 4 meals a day. 400 cal per meal and less than 35 grams of carbs. I add some veggies and thats it. Cheat some one day a week. About 1600 calories a day. You can't starve yourself.

    I checked and Rip Torn died july 9th this year so you just got the date wrong😎! I wanted to say Rip Torn was happy you mixed them up but he died also. I think everyone we enjoyed as kids are.

  7. My stress has been a problem for awhile. Funny you said that. Ive worked shift work for over 35 years. It was getting to me and the last 4 months have been a healing process. I won't tell the whole story but ive been off work for awhile and going back latter this month. Was getting some help and I feel better than I have in YEARS!!! My brothers passing took it over the top. I have three more years of working and then I can retire. Im not nuts but life has thrown some curveballs lately. Hard to admit for a guy and its been a rough ride but I needed it. Peace!!
  8. Ive gotten away from cokes. Maybe one a week. I make lemonade using the juice of one lemon and a bottle of bottled water with 2 packs of stevia. Very tasty. I do use some salt but have cut back. Trying to get a minimum of 4 fruits and veggies and very little 0 processed food. Only sugar is from fruit. One day a week I cheat some. OK bacon sometimes on cheat day 😎! I do eat some red meat and will not cut that out completely. I enjoy it too much. I am feeling better and have lost about 10 pounds so far. I have always had a problem with wanting to eat to much of the wrong things.I weigh about 220 and im 6 ft so im for sure not skinny! If you have anything that both tastes good and is healthy Let me know. Ive been making pizzas using a a flour tortilla for the crust and loading it with veggies and cut back on cheese. Even make my own sauce. Put it on a stone for 8 mins and bam!

  10. After my brother passed , It made me think I need to start taking a little better care of myself. Im far from perfect but doing much better. Ive been eating berries and nuts every day. Ive take blueberries,strawberries,iceladic skyr, which is about the same as greek yogurt, layered with almonds on top and its almost like cheating. Try it you may like it! Looks about like the bottom pic but they are using granola.

  12. Im listening to that album, by Cab Calloway ,that he plays on the second vid on spotify. Was reading the lyrics, and parts of the lyrics I didn't understand what they meant. I dug little deeper, and found that minnie was a woman who lived in Indy, here in In Indiana, and she was homeless.The part about Smokey who was Kokey was a friend who did cocaine, and kicking the gong around was smoking opium.   18. Im setting here looking at old pics and found this one. This is lucy and gracie. Lucy pasted 3 years ago and I know when gracie passes they will have to put me in the nuthouse. Just setting here feeling kind of blue thinking about it. But im enjoying her while she's here and time to feed the old girl. She 13 but still has that terrier attitude!

  20. If you put some honey on your oh uh I mean beers beers! I might have a few beers every week or two. Back in the day I drank way to much but not anymore. Thats why I wrote bears lol!
  21. I had a few bears today and got a crazy hair and wanted to see how loud my speakers would get. I usually don't listen crazy loud and just turned it up for a very short time. Just checked with the db meter on my phone. I got it up to 110 db and could not believe how loud it was. It may have gotten louder but I stopped there. How loud have you had your stereo?
