Power output?
looks like he has a pair of EH Gold 300B. I plan to use the TJ mesh 300 B. can't justify spending more on NOS 300B tubes, they get crazy pricy.
I think the driver is a 6Sl7, and rolling it can make a big difference in sound, judging from other Dennis Had amps I have used, (rolling a good quality 6SL7 NOS).
-
the rectifier looks like a globe 5Z3 ? not sure, but sure looks very nice ! doubt he will sent this rectifier to me though, more like an NOS one, much cheaper.

Dennis Had is building me an Fire bottle SET with 300B tubes.
It's almost done, awaiting the face plate only. He says he is amazed with the sound of it so far.
Wondering Which of my Klipsch speakers would BEST match with it ? K-horns 70th, or CWII's, La Scalla's II, Heresy's III's, or Forte's III's ?

Congratulations on the X-7 Muzishare. I have a similar one, and I did roll the tubes, and indeed it does have a great lush tuby sound. I use mine with a pair of H-3's, and a Schilt DAC. Very musical and clear sound. I used the Gold lion tubes in it, and to my ears they sound better.
I also have it's bigger brother, the R-100, with 845's 300b's tubes, along with a Cary Audio 200 DAC, and I use it with my Forte III's, and what a gorgeous sound they produce.
My understanding is the Muzishare is a part of LM company, they have very similar construction, and I use the Line Magnetic LM 508IA ( 805, 300b ) tube amp with my La Scalla II'S, and an NAD M-12 Dac. Exceptional sound, and clarity and warmth. the LM 508IA is 220 v and I use a 220/110 step down, a bit of a hassle at first, but for the sound, it is very well worth it.

Schiit markets their Aegirs amp as class A like'ish. any body has had experience with them driving Klipsch horns ? i am tempted to try a pair, with a Shiit freya +. any advise? Now i am using a fire bottle SE 45 amp, with a matching Dennis Had pre amp. sounds good, nd can get loud if needed.

I use it with my Khorns, and the sound is superb.

mono blocks firebottle, by dennis had.

I use the Cary Audio DAC 200 to a tube integrated amp, and I found the sound to be best to my ears. My Rf-7III's are used in a 2.0 channels system, no sub. I tried many tube amps and now i am pretty happy with the Muzishare R-100. ( 300B to 845 tubes)
It delivers strong tight and accurate bass, with clear, detailed and 3D sound. I used previously my Yamaha A-S2100 with same DAC, never got the 3D effect or the musical sound I was after. If you are into tubes, give it a try.

Could not resist at about $155.00 plus free shipping. It's for my 44 year old "computer speakers" (rebuilt Yamaha NS-1000M speakers with new Dayton Woofers and old Berylium Mids and Tweets). I have not been a "tube guy" since my teens and early 30's. When I met PWK in 1985 I still had a Marantz 8B driving my Khorns for several years. I believe STRONGLY in Class D amplifiers for their great performance, high efficiency, and NEUTRALITY, but this tube pre-amp section should add the "sweet distortion" provided by the emphasis on 2nd order hamonics tubes are known for without compromising the BASS response of the Solid State Power section. I'm no sure about the DAC part, but nowadays, 24 bit/96 Khz. appears to be the new minimum standard, but I don't care since I have a USB Sabre Dac for my headphones I can plug into the AUX 1.
I got the same deal and tried it, and returned it after 24 hours.
To my ears, I was very disappointed with the sound, the constant drop outs, although the amp looks nice.
I used the same setup with my Herseys III's., same cables and source.
Really a waste of money, even for everyday listening. But again, my ears are used to a much higher quality tubes amps, hence the immediate dislike.
Caution: YMMV.

Amp OFF, voltages drained. Each lead of the choke, is connected to the positive lead of a supply cap. Put the probes on those two caps - where the choke leads are attached to.. Ohms scale.
EDIT on 2-6-20,
The amp owner measured the choke at 111 Ohms, over five times too high..
The wiring inside the amp is very poor IMHO, ...........as is every resistor..
Layout is sophomoric,, two-dimensional, not three, excessively long leads everywhere, tie wrapped together.
Imagine an RCA Jack's input wires bundled and tie-wrapped together with the speaker leads, for about a thirteen inch span. !!!
Every cap inside appears to be an electrolytic, including Rk bypass caps . We will decide in a week or two, what to do !!
So, what did you to the amps? I am interested as I have similar ones, pair of tube fantasy 300 B SET, driving the RF-7 III's, they do sound really nice with no mod. and not too expensive tubes.

Glad to hear, I’m a little nervous about China Hi Fi, I have nothing against China, just thought I read about counterfeit LM, and it does seem like the amount of similar looking products from China that just look rebranded is confusing.
You can also try Musishare amps. I am using an X-7 with my Klipsch RF-7 III's, amazing sound and clarity, and has tons of power for these speakers, never runs out of steam driving my pair. It is affiliated with L/M, and the build quality is really exceptional, the included tube are also really good, i only swapped the rectifier and the pre tubes. Really nice quality all around.

I have both, and use them with la scalla's ii and k-horns, CWiii, and forte iii's speakers. I love both, , i do have the dialog HP P/L, and in the L/M 508, and the 518 IA, (both 845 tubes).
I do listen to all, and. I prefer the 508: just magical sound, breathtaking.
The P/L is powerful, clean, strong, and sweet sound.
The L/M, which I prefer is just musical, exciting and so pure.
I 'll go with L/M, , you will be very satisfied. perfect combination with Klipsch heritage speakers.
China HIFI is a trusted dealer. I bought from them many times before. You can roll the pre tubes on the L/M and yes one style , but different manufacturers for the 805/845 tubes.

for Heresy's iv, I would strongly recommend an SET amplifier, with few wpc, it will really make them shine.
I use a Dennis Had SET amp, with 6LS Tungsol's, new production, big tubes, excellent sound. I also use the matching pre amp by Dennis Had.
