  1. Aren't you where you could scavenge for dried out mesquite @grasshopper ? I've used hickory for pork, made red pepper and vinegar sauce to marinate it in. Wasn't great like Eastern NC Bar-B-Que but resembled it!
  2. I've got what was close to a point and shoot 35mm from the 90s somewhere. And that's what I though a camera looked like. That's one heck of a machine @Pinball_pw!
  3. He could have been the industry standard for that new thing to me a decade ago. political incorrectness What the heck is that? The TRUTH that you can't handle!
  4. @Invidiosulus I've used mesquite with salmon before and dang that was such a good thing I've done it several times!
  5. I've heard some of Ricky's before but not like that. He does a nice job with it.
  6. Thought about adding mine up once. Pros: Could help if there ever was a calamity that took out my vinyl Cons: Pulling each out and grading them would take as long as that ultrasonic cleaning process I did in`20. Took a minute to think though that and I didn't do it!
  7. Yea it's a regional type of music but geeze those guys could play those strings! I don't think I can believe what I just read elsewhere until I see it again. Apparently happened at 1700. Basically it boils down to "Drill Baby Drill" and maybe gas prices will go lower soon! ** it was a fraudulent act as usual😢
  8. Ahhh @Dave1291 what are we gonna do with you? I do like corn but I don't wanna live in the middle of a cornfield But I guess Kentucky needs it for their sourmash! Come to think of it it might be better than here, oh and my Tigers gear ain't much but guess where it is.... with all my stuff north four hours of here
  9. Yep starches can do that, much rather get it that way than in something from a lab! I've only got white and brown now, will get wild next time. I put Better Than Bullion base in it for protein if I don't want it from beans or dairy and I've had enough meat for the week, those pics I put up of lasagna and stuff aren't my everyday diet! * yep I've got no real pizza here also mines frozen `cause delivery hasn't been good since the 90s.
  10. Naa wasn't there sunburn. But when Rob came out driving the bike the first two times I saw them opening with Hellbent, he had nothing but boots and the leather on, think the pta must have had them change that before the next time. Spotlight did the same as the sun when a big wave would take my shorts off at the beach... blindingly bright white. Scotch-Irish-English heritage in me probably did that. "Off the Barrier" Is that a clue to your state of mind at that time?
  11. It would have to be a tiny airboat to get in and around there!
  12. Ya'll like basmati also? I do... all by itself it's good.
  13. Gotta put all the stuff together for my food for the next few days. Changed channels again
  14. Instead of turning or changing the record I'm changing channels lately. Voila:
  15. Now you're just braggin' @Marvel *Did not mean that in a bad way... could've said 'Atta-Boy"
  16. Smells good in here but I did have to open up, folks next door that make noise in the nighttime will freak if they drive up and hear Zac Brown on the breeze with chicken cooking too. Ran out of celery so celery salt had to do, can't cook chicken without that and onion or it will stink the next day. This funny one was on earlier here:
  17. Morning guys. Billy I ended up with both of those HotRocks records the other year. Nice best of collection! Got my rock fix yesterday with the priest, @sunburnwilly back when Rob was in better vocal shape! Wouldn't have been half as scary in a harness & chaps then too. Talk about a Myrtle Beach paleface! This am?
  18. Hey I only do pasta about once a week, made my hotdog helper last week in mac-n-cheese. Macaroni counts, I've heard some Italians call what I call spaghetti macaroni! Not the thirties anymore at night, woke up with the sheet kicked down. Never can tell this time of year, I remember snow on the ground for a day or so that fell after Easter a couple times. "During the Honey Process, coffee is dried with some or all of the mucilage remaining on the parchment encasing the seed. Coffee cherries are picked, sorted, depulped, and then moved to drying patios or beds for various periods of time. Red Honey Processed is dried for two to three weeks, usually on overcast days or in the shade. If it’s very sunny, the farm workers will cover the drying coffee for longer periods of time to reduce light exposure." YUM! made a qt this morning 20oz wasn't going to cut it today.
  19. Know I saw him on Carson's Late Night back when his was the "One & Only" one. Wait. It still is the one and only late night show ever worth staying up until 1am on a weeknight to watch!
  20. Have to check that later "Sin After Sin" is blaring now. Rocka-Rolla was before so it's a Judas priest afternoon here in my neighborhood!
  21. Meat, eggs, COFFEE , fruit, bread, oats? and juice. I'd be skipping lunch after that!
  22. Looks good, I haven't bought any sandwich bread in almost five years. Eat enough pasta to make up for it though, need to try and make some in my cast iron dutch oven. Love whole wheat without the bird seed!
  23. Since I don't have a farm with beef, poultry, pork and veggies I started stocking up. Prices are f'n insane could be remedied but they don't want to do that (po'd smiley here) Not affording $800 prepper packages, bought a couple cases of canned chili on amaz@# . The one with the chilies and extra j a p s all the sudden would take an extra ten days to get to me. In the E they asked did I want to cancel? Heck yea I did that after finding it for sale at a few $ less. Then I ordered what states 12 cans on the page... in the cart it's 6 cans!! They just about doubled the price on it to like $8 a can? pffttt DDucked it, got it coming from elsewhere, one of Sams stores for $2.16 a can plus nine 1 lb bags of Xochitl tortillas. For less than that original order. Feels so good! I'll start looking there first!
