  1. Sure if you could handle all the cold 30 to 40 degree mornings and the rain that turns yards into mud puddles! Got the stuff for lasagna except for the meat, I'd bet you could make it better than me! Stay off of that 80 something highway off 95N @Richmond through the PA Amish country to west of Boston near that stadium... It stinks near NYC, at least in the summer it did!
  2. I won't.. hope ya know I was chuckling when I did that. Only jesting with you bud & knew you would recognize it! So perfectly clean first one out of the box. Just like the regular copy I bought new last year except that half-speed goodness with the improved frequency range playback makes it sound even better. Won't post all as I play them but it will keep me busy for a while.
  3. Ah Mike 😧 You asked, but I can't completely refrain You dis' my faves, with nonchalant disdain I won't disparage what doesn't light my fire But of wind and wuthering I do tire You asked but then you do the same: It was an April morning when they told us we should go As I turn to you, you smiled at me How could we say no? With all the fun to have, to live the dreams we always had Oh, the songs to sing, when we at last return again Sending off a glancing kiss, to those who claim they know Below the streets that steam and hiss, The devil's in his hole Oh to sail away, To sandy lands and other days Oh to touch the dream, Hides inside and never seen. Into the sun the south the north, at last the birds have flown The shackles of commitment fell, In pieces on the ground Oh to ride the wind, To tread the air above the din Oh to laugh aloud, Dancing as we fought the crowd To seek the man whose pointing hand, The giant step unfolds With guidance from the curving path, That churns up into stone If one bell should ring, in celebration for a king So fast the heart should beat, As proud the head with heavy feet. Days went by when you and I, bathed in eternal summers glow As far away and distant, Our mutual child did grow Oh the sweet refrain, Soothes the soul and calms the pain Oh Albion remains, sleeping now to rise again Wandering wandering, What place to rest the search The mighty arms of Atlas, Hold the heavens from the earth The mighty arms of Atlas, Hold the heavens from the earth From the earth... I know the way, know the way, know the way, know the way (X2) Oh the mighty arms of Atlas, Hold the heavens from the earth.
  4. I actually think the early JP is even better maybe un-commercialized. My holidays are officially over now, the motherlode just came in. Found it at 40% less than that high retail price. Should sound sweet! More to follow.
  5. I went to wiki to look it up Origins was part of the freakin' outline of their history Need to fact-check before I spread any more fake-news.
  6. Third. Origins & Rocka Rolla first. ** "Third. Origins & Rocka Rolla first." Move along.... nothing to see here...... fake-news @dirtmudd caught it! Sad Wings is the second Rocka Rolla came before that.
  7. Plus more melodic and actually sounding like composed music. Surprising when I was digging Livin' After Midnight and the like in my late teens!
  8. Like the last couple of guys said ?Humidifier? Here in NC? Damp Rid is a no-go for me they have changed it so much it doesn't do c*^p anymore. Not like in Cent FL in the 2000s. I spent $10-$15 a month since `03 when I came back here. Three years ago I bought a three bill DE-humidifier that works pretty good. Thing is used overnight three or four nights a week our duke pwr bill went up. Makes the ac run more too because I put it near the air return. The dry air they put out is warmer than what's in the room. Not as bad in the cool months, ran ours last night with the 80%+ humidity we've had again this week. Like to keep it in the mid 40% range for the piano here. Mold can be very expensive! Nip it in the bud Barney!
  9. @dirtmudd When you've got ten give a listen to this old ballad. It was unexpected, not having any of their records to hear this building up after a half hour of heavy duty R&R! They'd put a "lull" in the shows somewhere both times I saw `em
  10. A Couple years before that one: Mother Mary, High Flyer, Dance Your Life Away, Shoot Shoot..... and every one is what rock and roll was in 1975
  11. Used to have that record. Got several of theirs, funny they opened for Judas Priest who opened for Molly Hatchett after their first album came out. JP wasn't big here yet even though all those early ones were HUGE in England. UFO didn't get the respect they deserved, Talk about a kick *** show, I know it was, I just can't remember it from forty years ago!! Shenker Bros!!!
  12. I ship you these if You'll ship me one of those in that kind of shape!!
  13. well Yeah Mike You just outed me.... I'm a Rocker!!!
  14. Back then...loved it LOUD ALL THE TIME You just don't like the heavy stuff as much as I 🤘 surprised this one is still clean enough to listen to! **and the soundstage on this LP WOW!! the guitar on "Metal Gods" just hangs right there above the Fortes a little. Sure that your LS would do that better, could just be my analog that I just upgraded again!
  15. Landed some half-speed re-issues of these favorites and someone could enjoy these on the cheap!
  16. Pray you could avert anything like this kind of situation @Tarheel
  17. Three very nice 180 gram "audiophile grade" M vinyl re-releases. The few times they have been played they've been under a correctly set up micro-line cart. Microlines properly used do not harm the groove like the rounded elliptical does. All M with quiet backgrounds quality sound. All in the first pic purchased new within 2018 except for Zenyatta "Back in Black edition" bought M from discogs. You think $35 paypal sent USPS media mail to the contiguous USA for the lot sounds fair? Doesn't from my end but hey gotta move `em!
  18. Yes I have to agree with Mike in general about that, even Aerosmith and Rush put out some highly "produced" stuff. Or as they say new creative directions. Nope the 70s ROCKED! NO dot from me that was only once, my birthday in `79. and I'm ot already. Must have followed you home from the radio station
  19. So that was you at the bottom of the stairs in a dramatized pic a few months ago? Nay nay nay! Not my red, yellow and blue King Crimson I say!! That was the gay 80s "talk to the hand" loquacious crap I was talkin" about! 714s man 714s
  20. Dude!. They were here, we had a heavy microdot contingent in this berg years ago! Ritchie or Ronnie too. Not to mention that Ozzy was a stone (d)? Rock God when they played the old coliseum in the 70s. He did sweet leaf and dedicated it to ( we firmly believed) the blond lebenese we were smoking next to the stage once.... well 9 out of 10 there that night were getting high it was `78. They did not require stage smoke for the lights. He stopped mid sentence, the band stopped then they started "Sweet Leaf"
  21. Sabatoge!! there ya go! * see my `Canes are up 5-2 over the preds @second int right now
  22. Don't you go 1980s on me @dirtmudd !
