If Klipsch did not exist, which speakers would you own?

Just in case you are still thinking about JVC still, I love mine (for the price). I got my RX-9010v online for $290 and it is great. It works great with DVD Audio and every other 5.1 format, but the only true reason you should get this receiver over the others is if you are going to hook up your computer to it. The USB connection sounds 10 times better then when I hooked up my SoundBlaster platinum to receiver via optical. Again, only get this one if you are on a low budget and you are going to be hooking up your PC to it. ------------------ Fronts----KLF 30's Center----KLF-C7 Receiver--JVC RX-9010V Rears-----Quintets Sub-------RSW-15 TV--------Panasonic tau 32 HDTV DVD/DVD Audio------TOSHIBA SD-5700 Game System- XBOX ------------------ Computer 1.8 P4 - 640 megs of DDR ram Geforce 3 120gig and 60gig 7200rpm harddrives 8000 Mp3's, all hooked up to my receiver via USB

I completely agree. You should by it on Ebay or Ubid from a seller with high feedback. You could save hundreds.

If anyone is interested in RC3-II please email me at tonyschmidty@hotmail.com. I have only had it for 5 months, and it works perfect. There is only a slight problem with it. When it was shipped to me, one corner got slightly dent and 2 pins broke off the grill. The grill still sits on the speaker fine and you can not see the dent when it is on. The reason I am selling it is because BOA says it does not match my KLF 30's, so I bought a C7 to make him happy, lol. If you would like more pictures of it, I would be happy to email them to you.

Well? Are you two interested?

Boa is always on the ball. I would be interested in a trade if everyone else is. Just let me know, tonyschmidty@hotmail.com Thanks again Boa for the email and it is KLF 30's not 20's, lol. ------------------ Fronts----KLF 30's Center----RC-3 II Receiver--JVC RX-9010V Rears-----Quintets Sub-------RSW-15 TV--------Panasonic tau 32 HDTV DVD/DVD Audio------TOSHIBA SD-5700 Game System- XBOX ------------------ Computer 1.8 P4 - 640 megs of DDR ram Geforce 3 120gig and 60gig 7200rpm harddrives 8000 Mp3's, all hooked up to my receiver via USB

I am such a FOOL! You would think someone who is going to graduate in MIS would no how to attach the right file. Here is my RSW 15, I hope.

Here are a few pictures of my small (but powerful) setup. I have pretty much all hooked up with good monster cable (Monster 3). It is also hooked up to my computer (USB to my receiver and S-Video to my TV). I hope to upgrade my receiver and rears pretty soon. I did not take any pictures of my rears because they are Quintets, and are nothing to be proud of. I was also wondering if you guys have any creative ideas where I can put my center channel. It does not fit anywhere so I had to put it on top of my cabinet, which is about 6 feet off the ground. ------------------ Fronts----KLF 30's Center----RC-3 II Receiver--JVC RX-9010V Rears-----Quintets Sub-------RSW-15 TV--------Panasonic tau 32 HDTV DVD/DVD Audio------TOSHIBA SD-5700 Game System- XBOX ------------------ Computer 1.8 P4 - 640 megs of DDR ram Geforce 3 120gig and 60gig 7200rpm harddrives 8000 Mp3's, all hooked up to my receiver via USB

I want to thank everyone here too! If it wasn't for you guys I would still have my Cambridge Soundworks Sub, a crappy DVD player (using radio shack connections), and my KLF 30's 5 feet away from my TV (because I did not know about bucking magnets.) You all have been so helpful (especially Boa) Schmidty

Ahhh, I understand now. So what is the difference with a 7 channel receiver? Is there any media that outputs 7 channels? Thanks, Schmidty
-
It does? It has front right, front left, two surrounds, center, and a subwoofer which it labels 5.1ch. If that is 6ch, great beacuse my recevier has the same inputs. Is that right?
-
Since my DVD Player does not have 6 analog outputs (only the 5.1ch analog and digital), can it use its full potential? It says "6ch output" in the DVD Player output menu. Thank you so much, again!!! mpetrich, I had the same question last week and I just got my Wonderful Toshiba SD-5700 today. If you want to see the responses I got on the same topic a few days ago scroll down about 10 posts and it should be very helpful. ------------------ Fronts----KLF 30's Center----RC-3 II Receiver--JVC RX-9010V Rears-----Quintets Sub-------RSW-15 TV--------Panasonic tau 32 HDTV DVD/DVD Audio------TOSHIBA SD-5700 Game System- XBOX ------------------ Computer 1.8 P4 - 640 megs of DDR ram Geforce 3 120gig and 60gig 7200rpm harddrives 8000 Mp3's, all hooked up to my receiver via USB

Thanks Boa, So I can't use my Digital Canare Coaxial Cable and get Advanced Res? My only other choices are Optical, 5.1CH, or 2CH. My Receiver is 5.1, but 6.1 compatible (Whatever that means) ------------------ Fronts----KLF 30's Center----RC-3 II Receiver--JVC RX-9010V Rears-----Quintets Sub-------RSW-15 TV--------Panasonic tau 32 HDTV DVD/DVD Audio------TOSHIBA SD-5700 Game System- XBOX ------------------ Computer 1.8 P4 - 640 megs of DDR ram Geforce 3 120gig and 60gig 7200rpm harddrives 8000 Mp3's, all hooked up to my receiver via USB

Thanks Moon, I will change it right away. I play games some games here and there. I just love technology. Got to have everything cool, from the self cleanning Braun shaver, to my remote controlled fan that looks like R2D2.

I just got my Toshiba SD-5700 DVD player/DVD Audio player today and I love it. I was very excited to try out the new DVD Audio technology, so I ran out and bought "B.B. King & Eric Clapton- Riding with the King". It sounds great, but I have a few questions. 1. The case says that it has 4 ways to output. Advanced Resolution Surround Advanced Resolution Stereo DVD-Video compatible Dolby Digital And DTS 5.1 Surround Sound But when I put in the disk it only gives me the options of Surround or Stereo. Which do I choose for best sound? 2. Why does my receiver not highlight DTS? It says it is reading Liner PCM 3. What is your favorite DVD Audio disk? Thanks everyone, Schmidty ------------------ Fronts----KLF 30's Center----RC-3 II Receiver--JVC RX-9010V Rears-----Quintets Sub-------RSW-15 TV--Panasonic tau 32 HDTV DVD------TOSHIBA SD-5700 Game System- XBOX ------------------ Computer 1.8 P4 - 608megs of DDR ram Geforce 3 120 + 60 7200rpm harddrives 8000 Mp3's, all hooked up to my receiver via USB

Thanks for your concern ShapeShifter, I was aware of that problem. The person I bought it from has 1009 positive and NO negative feedback. Also I bought my JVC receiver on EBay and when I got it was not working so I brought it to a JVC repair center and they fixed it for free with a print-up of the EBay description as a receipt.
