  1. Thanks Alex, I wish you would have sent me this earlier. I pulled the trigger on the http://www.knukonceptz.com/home-theater/speaker-wire/karma-ss-speaker-kable/ Thank you.
  2. Not bad for my 1st post...lol
  3. Keep me updated. Love that Fisher.
  4. First thank you for you help! I stop by the (2) big stores ,tonight on the way home. Not 6-32, its a finer thread. Tried to match the screw up with the gauge on display, came up empty. Definitely not metric, it fits into the 6-32 slot, but the threads aren't the same. I live & work in NYC, I'll have to try a lamp store or old time hardware stores that I know! It's either 6-36 or 6-40 thread.
  5. Having no luck today finding a 1 1/2'' screw for the barrier block. Just might have to scratch that idea. Not sure if it's a #6-36 or #6-40 thread, coming up blank on the net.
  6. Not looking speaker cable, this is for inside the box. Thanks anyway.
  7. royal-auto-part Flee bay!
  8. Did you purchase wire from them?
  9. I have the quad... A little work to get them in each wire & they're not as flexible as just the wire alone. I was on parts conection & saw the Duelund wire. Looks like the Karma SS @ 16 ga.. The Barrier blocks arrived today, & it looks like I need a 1 1/2'' screws to connect them thru the rear panel. (next mission)
  10. Thanks Dean, you learn something new everyday. The Supra is 3x the price. with a lil over kill, I'm thinking 27' per speaker, w/o the leeds to the receiver. So the Karma SS is 27x.40 = $10.80, Supra classic is 27x $1.22= $32.94
  11. The Supra Classic has 204 strands opposed to the Karma SS @ 112 strands. Don't know which would be better?
  12. I'll use the annealed wire inside the cabinets, then it's a toss up from cross over to rear of speaker.
  13. Dean I don't know yet if the wires are long enough to reach the rear panel?
  14. Dean do you suggest on all drivers & from the crossover to the terminal block?
  15. Jimbo, waiting for the terminal blocks to arrive, to see how much room I have, to terminate the wires.
  16. I have about 30 + feet left of the 12 gauge Monoprice left over from my (4) Forte II setup upstairs. Thanks wvu80!
  17. Thanks Gents. I'm still open to anyone's $.02.
  18. Hello Rick, 12gauge for all 3 drivers? I'm familiar with that site, ordered from them when building speaker wire for AV setup.
  19. Hello Schu, everyday zip cord?
  20. Greetings everyone! I've been lurking the forum for years, I finally joined last month. I just purchased 1982 Corwalls. Waiting on Al to build a pair of Universal cross overs, being their 36 years old. I'm going to keep the networks outside the box. I can use some suggestions on what wire & gauge to feed the drivers via 6 gang terminal block (GOLD). My receiver is a Fisher 800 C fully restored.
