    @KayR311,

    Welcome to the forum.

    I have driven my Heresy 1s and Heresy 2s with various pieces over the years.  Some to mention are my current Cambridge Audio 640A V2 and NAD T773 AVR,  Integra DTM-40.4, Luxman R-117, B&K PT-3II/Acurus A150 combo, Adcom preamp/amp combo, Denon PMA-700V, Denon PMA-750, Denon PMA-1080R, Yamaha A-S1000.  All combos sounded pretty wonderful, though tonally some slight differences and some had more bass slam.  Speaking for the Cambridge Audio and NAD examples you are considering, either will power the H3s with ease and should be tonally similar.  Can't honestly speak for the other integrateds mentioned for lack of experience but being how the Heresys are not really amplifier picky, they too should be fine.

    Bill

    which of these amps you listed have more low end?...

    Find some used forte 1 or 2s upgrade the xovers and tweeters to titanium and BINGO can be done for 1000.

    by doing these upgrades, would you say that they are like forte3s after?... just listen to the forte3s again and they sound great. but doing upgrades on 1 or 2s would be easier for the wife to get on board.

    I think 70 pairs each were made for the Special Ed. matte black, rosewood, California black walnut and the Australian Walnut-70th anniversary Ed.

    So that is 280 pairs of special or anniversary Ed. Cornwalls.  They are selling these as a pair for about the same price they are being offered as per speaker on other sites. In fact they are offering them for $1200 LESS than what they offer for a open box minor chip and dent pair of black walnut Cornwalls. I do not understand this pricing.

    the simple fact that this is a pair at this price is why im trying desperately to convince my wife of letting me use the credit card :) yes we can get a cheaper b-stock set but im thinking 30+ years from now when my kids take over these beauties and smile.

    Does anyone here know a transgender person?

    actually i know a transgender individual back growing up in hawaii. its not uncommon to meet and know what we call "mahu" or gay man. i know this one "guy" since we were little kids and he always liked girly things and was very feminine. he would get picked on all the time and our group of friends would always back him up and even beat the crap out of several guys that would pick on him throughout highschool. he was definitely one of the tiny percent that should and did get sex reassignment surgery.

    the best part of this entire story is that years later in our mid 20s, i met a large group of former highschool classmates and several of the guys that used to pick on my friend pulled me on the side and asked "whos the hottie?" my friend was much more beautiful than she was ever handsome. shes very happy and is in a happy relationship. her boyfriend is happy and knows her history.

    they dont advertise it and they stick to themselves which is fine. she will always be the kid i grew up with that just needed a friend.

    now granted this is a very rare case and story. since then, i met alot of "transgender" individuals that just seem confused and emotional wrecks. i stay away from those types. by the way, my friend never tried to push anything on anyone as is with todays society.
